Wise words, Mr. Vonnegut
This picture by Daniel Horowitz is perfect. Reminds me of how much I’d like a “mute” button for my brain right now.
Just another member of the nuclear age.
Much has changed for Mickey Mouse.

Cover art for World's End Girlfriend's "Hurtbreak Wonderland."
I found myself caught in this cover more than once, persistently lost, unable to remove myself from what I thought was being deprived of me. It ended up being nothing more than a petulant annoyance, a product of my own negativity. Man, a pretty girl like that would be nice.
Mac DeMarco - My Kind of Woman Edmonton bred, Vancouver living, legend in the making: Mac Demarco.
And I wouldn't blame him either.
Ian Curtis wouldn't hesitate killing himself again if he was aware of what his bandmates were up to after his death. Fucking New Order.
Daisy, Daisy, give me your answer, do, I'm half crazy all for the love of you. It won't be a stylish marriage, I can't afford a carriage, but you'd look sweet upon the seat of a bicycle built for two.

Silence in the library, please.
Stand up straight and let me check if you're bulletproof.
Sir Sly - Ghost The defining sound of popular indie music in the early twenty teens. Like it or not, this is it, more or less. Sounds pretty good to me.
Qualms.
Is a women's head worth more than mine? No, at least I don't think it is. Then why do I see, every time I walk by a haircut joint, that women's cuts cost more than my own? This doesn't seem right, not equal. What I don't want to hear is that the reason it's more expensive is because it's a more difficult task; more time-consuming; more skill needed. What I choose to hear instead is that when my head is being sheered, there's more room for lazy bullshit.
'Oh, I fucked up this guy's head? Oh well, no worry, keep going.' I'll notice, barber, and whether or not I say anything, I'll garner some deep resentment. Live with that shit.
From Bellflower's OST, "Babyfin," by Jonathan Keevil. Both the film and album are spectacular, I recommend them both.
