CRAWL. I think.. I’m too busy to be here!

--at least as much as I’d need to be to keep up with the community n’all that, really. Juuzou’s the perfect type of character that I enjoy writing, but these days I really don’t find myself online that often -- which if you think about it, is a good thing! Big plans are using up my time and I’ve already achieved more this year than I have in the previous four tenfold (though don’t take my word on that----I still sleep-in a metric tonne and still haven’t TOTALLY figured out waking up for alarms)

INNNN short, I’m in a really good place these days and I’m happier than I think I’ve ever been. My boyfriend/friends, my ‘job’, and a pocketful of plane tickets have made being here an old priority dwindling down into a subpar hobby that I really don’t have the time for. This place was great for me from a sadder time, and nothing means more to me than knowing that’s not me anymore. So this is like, goodbye n’stuff!

he’s trying so hard to not seem exhausted by the life-or-death tribulation that’s completely normal within the context of the suzuya squad’s sparring sessions. hanbee can’t help it — while his spidery frame is great for dodging and reaching, it’s far from built for stamina. appreciatively, he takes the offered cloth. as he sloughs the sweat of exertion from his oh so pale forehead, he looks mournfully down at a hunk of silky black hair, his own, which was chopped clean off when a knife hissed right past his ear and now lies scattered on the floor.

at least there hasn’t been any blood. this time.

“Thank you… sir. My apologies for the inconvenience. If I may have just a moment…” his poor overtaxed lungs huff a moment, long-fingered hands resting on his knees, and then he straightens up. “Alright, I’m prepared to continue.” he’s really not.

He’s a hoax----Juuzou thinks----and an ugly one at that. “----Liar.”

“I’ve already caught my breath----more to the point, I never lost it. Do you know what would happen if I took your word for it, Hanbee?” He doesn’t have Jason with him (made it a point to forbid the use of weapons in a brief, regrettable moment of dire clarity), but if he did he’d consider skewering a spideryspidery arm right through, or to stab the other through the leg and then lift him by it, if only to secure his attention. “I would know you as ‘that tall silly man who used to own some legs’, Haise would have more paperwork to go to bed with, and Arima would be requesting a new employee to fill those boatish boots of yours.” Thin shoulders slump, but he holds Abara Hanbee with the same cadaverous bore so acutely honed in on he and he alone that he might as well have pinned him; excessive, yes of course -- but also fantastically effective, in Hanbee’s case alone. “I didn’t ever tell you the easiest way to magically 1-UP your skills in everything, did I?”

AT NOON he was set to enter the room, all commanding and worldly-dependable -- but AT NOON he was seizing his chances; arms elbow deep in his pockets spilling out with the type incongruous shrapnel of his day-to-day schedule----his home, his own room, his journey to this very market----repulsed at the thought of a meeting without candy -- EVEN MORE SO by the notion of splitting a note, and instead buys 5000 yen worth of----well, a stickysweet something.

IT’S HALF PAST when he gets there, all blue lips and bulged pockets. His subject is waiting; a dark smudge against the sterile tables and chairs in the otherwise deflated conference room that he loathes and he wishes would crumble. He bows at the hips, far too low, too intent----his long arms and quick hands catching the sweets that pop out of his grasp at the cause of this. A wide grin, though not welcoming -- not in the least bit pretentious, but something more like a challenge -- to ruffle him.

“Hoooi! --do you mind? there are people below me who should’ve sat with you and waited ---- don’t take offence..! we have a habit of not trusting new faces.” He straightens up, waves his hand. “Oh, and, ..I wonder, -- do you have a big brother?”
