"I never thought of doing an imported brand. Jung Jae-ssi, Director Woo Jong-wan, and I had a lot of ideas about the fashion business since we were young. We often talked about how we should launch a brand. Then, when I was in China filming <The Return of Superman> and returned to Korea for a short time to film a commercial, I said to Jung Jae, “It would be great if we made it ourselves.” Jung Jae immediately said, “Okay, let’s do that!” He has a great business sense and likes to find out things, so we started in earnest.” Jung Woo Sung makes eye contact and talks. That’s how the business of the clothing brand Daban became official. “I love the most natural, basic things,” Lee Jung-jae said, exactly like Jung Woo-sung. “I’m not an extraordinary genius, nor am I a perfect creature. I just progress little by little with the help of many people. The fashion business is the same. I’m going to launch a fashion brand every year, and yes… there are women’s clothes among them. But ultimately, I like T-shirts and jeans the most.”

2007 | LOTOCO ÍNTIMO Underwear Brand

Jung Woo-sung and Lee Jung-jae challenge underwear business. Cool K, Oh Byung-jin, and 4 others join forces.

Top actors Jung Woo-sung and Lee Jung-jae have jumped into the underwear business with former Ocean member Oh Byung-jin and music video director Cool K. The underwear brand they will be selling is 'Lotoco Intimo.' Originally, Oh Byung-jin, Cool K, fashion designer Rabegi, and model DT opened Lotoco (www.lotoco.com), an online shopping mall specializing in men's clothing, in October of last year. It was a huge success, reaching over 30,000 members in just one month. Furthermore, Lotoco, which decided to launch a men's underwear brand, brought together Jung Woo-sung and Lee Jung-jae, who had always been interested in the underwear business.
