“So i’m like 95% positive that what you did there was’t legal…but Im gonna look the other way.” Athena said staring at the person in front of her. She was off duty and the last thing she needed was more paperwork today. “I just really wanna go home, so how about you promise not to do it again and we will call it a day.” @cityofdreamsstarters
Mathias was sitting down at some random coffee shop, already losing track of its names with how many were being open these days, it was totally understandable. As his pencil glided over the thick paper in his sketch pad he noticed a young looking kid trying to free one of the Citi bikes in front of the shop. Mathias chuckled, remembering what it was like to be just as young and reckless as the boy outside. The young boy outside was beginning to grow restless as his yanking only increased, trying to pop the wheel from the lock the way someone clearly taught him how. Whispers began to spark in the coffee shop and Mathias could see someone behind the counter reaching for their phone, most likely to call the cops. “Hey, hey, hey, relax, that’s not necessary, there’s probably a perfect explanation.” Mathias was now up from his seat, his eyes hard on the worker behind the bar. With a quick rise of his hand, Mathias zipped up his jacket and went outside to go talk to the boy when he noticed a woman approaching the what had to be about thirteen year old boy. The New York native came out just in time to catch the end of the woman’s comment,
“I just really wanna go home, so how about you
promise not to do it again and we will call it a day.”
Mathias could see the face on the younger boy in front of him who clearly was not fazed by the woman giving him a warning. “Hey lady, no offense but if you’re trying to intimidate him it’s not working.”
