I know Capcom needs to make money and that Leon is a well loved character (me included) but it felt like his scenes in re9 and most of his presence was fanservice. As I mentioned in my previous post, Capcom wanted to make re9 a “horror” type of experience and that’s why they were hesitant to add veteran characters but I think they ended up adding Leon to the game to fulfill fan expectations and other stuff.
