Hey! I'm Flam, brand new to Tumblr in the year 2024, of all timelines.

last week, i cooked another dinner inspired by one of @wunderflammer's fics, this time the inspiration came from Chapter 4 of Sleep Study. i'm not copying the paragraph this time because the cooking scene is so long 😅 but basically stone cooks chicken thighs, roasted veggies and mujadara.
it took me ~2h to cook this, because i made vegan "chicken thighs" out of cauliflower and chickpeas. but it tasted really good, so it was definitely worth the effort, and i had a lot of leftovers to share with my mother.
i had to get a bit creative with the roasted veggies because fresh asparagus isn't in season right now, so i added celery root and the leftover cauliflower instead.
this is the recipe i used for the vegan "chicken thighs" (it's in german):

Since there's no fic update this week, I figure the least I can give you is some silly memes. See below the natural consequence of hanging out with @mae-peachie and @lalalaurieart. Some of us agree - the word "pants" just isn't terribly scintillating. I tend to lean toward slacks or trousers in my writing because I think those are a bit classier/sexier (nevermind that said trousers never stay on long in my fics).
Which side of this debate are you on? Which word is the best? Pants? Slacks? Trousers? Bottoms? A secret fifth thing? 👀

Stone nodded before departing back to his office. As he sat at his desk eating his lunch – quinoa, roasted sweet potato, and chicken meal-prepped earlier in the week – he considered what might happen.
it was so good and easy to make, i'll definitely be making that again!
i used vegan filet strips instead of chicken, and i referenced this recipe for the sauce and quinoa but didn't add any other ingredients (no brussel sprouts, pecans, or cranberries):
These harvest quinoa bowls combine chicken, roasted sweet potatoes and brussels sprouts, and a tangy dijon dressing for a delicious and heal

Blown away by more amazing artwork from the wonderful @mae-peachie! I love, love, LOVE the deeply unsettling, eldritch-feeling eyes in the first piece. Stone and Robotnik are PERFECTION. I want this on a shirt, I want it tattooed on my body. Not to mention, looming miserable shinigami Robotnik at the rental car counter and... private time Stone 👀 I am going to cherish these forever.
Also, it is wild to me that anyone outside of the people I regularly interact with are aware of my existence, let alone that I am a Known Concept on someone's Tomodachi island. I am truly honored! Just... don't be exchanging those forbidden tomes in public, boys.
