My name is Mae, im an artist(mostly traditional, but Ive been trying to learn some digital), I use She/they/he, but im most comfortable with They/them online. I really enjoy nature, and Im trying to get into sewing and trying to work on my writing as well. I love asks, so feel free to send me some!

Im in a lot of different fandoms and have a large variety of interests, so this blog will be multifandom like my main.
She may be subject to a redesign in the future as im not 100% sure if I fully like this design. But here is Phoebe of Team Pyre(initally my childhood Rocket grunt oc </3). I sketched her traditionally and did the rest digitally(though I will be posting the traditional version once I finish it)
This is her grunt outfit. However, she wears a different jacket than the other grunts.

This story takes place in a region I have not decided the name of yet because im uncreative and Lazy. All you need to know is they suffer from invasive fire type Pokémon and lots of wildfires.
Phoebe is the daughter of the former Champion, and co founder of Team Pyre, Gregor(name may change in the future idk). While her dad tried to be in her life the most he could throughout her childhood, though his early death led Phoebe's mom to overly shelter and helicopter parent Phoebe. Growing up Phoebe idolized her late father(despite her mother's wishes.) And wanted to become a trainer like him. However her mom forbade her of it due to fear of her daughter meeting the same fate as Gregor. Phoebe ended up secretly receiving the gift of a Pokémon egg from a lady in their village on her 10th birthday. Phoebe ended up fighting with her mom over the egg and decided to leave.
Phoebe, who was now homeless with nothing but some spare clothes; a bag, and her egg, headed out into the wilderness. Eventually running into team Pyre grunts who were putting out a fire. They coerced her into going back to the team Pyre base, and due to the boss knowing her father, she was enlisted as a grunt under the Wildfire division. Her egg ended up hatching into an eevee, which she evolved into her Flareon "Lucky."
Being under the Wildfire division, her team mostly consists of fire types(besides Floatzel), as the Wildfire division(contrary to what one might think) uses fire types to start fake wildfires so that the Rescue division may swoop in with their water types and put it out to keep up Team Pyre's false public image, and so they can also capture the Frightened Pokémon trapped by the raging fires.
Blah blah theres other world building bs but im too lazy to type it all if u wanna know more ask in the comments or smth 👀 this is all very poorly explained, apologies!! This evil team name has probably been used b4, I didn't check to see if it was so sorry if its the name of some popular oc evil team idk 😞 also may or may not change flareon to an arcanine. We will see.
Tumblr is glitching and won't let me add more than one image so it's whatever. The second image just shows the back design of the jacket it's not that important it's jst the Pyre logo on the back.
Jst having some fun designing more furry characters. They would wear clothes but I wanted the patterns to show better nd im too lazy to do a version WITH clothes for It. Don't mind the halfassed front view it was pissing me off.
I have some Pokémon trainers I wanna design too but this is jst a warm up since I haven't drawn in awhile. This is all done w/o refrence so I lwk just tried to make it look simplified instead of making it accurate to an actual scolipede's patterns and stuff
The shiny is buns but its okay because now i'l have shiny Slowbro which is undeniably one of the most tubular shinies in kanto. So excited, Parasect and Jolteon are my last targets for my all shiny team(besides my Starter eevee of course!) This hunt took 1 hr, 11 min, and 18 seconds.
I loveee Golbats shiny, I caught a female one in ultra moon and have loved it ever since. First shiny of my lets go playthrough too, I was looking for full odds charmander and catch combo Crobat at the same time. Surprised I found it under 31 encounters
320 total encounters(not counting the ones I didn't catch), 14 hours straight of shiny hunting no breaks. Can't wait to evolve him and finally actually continue the game.

Just had a dream that I think cured my art block oh my god. It was amazing and now I need to draw the characters in it. It was like watership down but with gay birds

Rant under cut because I am royally pissed off at my own stupidity
First, just the paint job itself took like 3 hours because I was being precise with a bigger brush than what I needed, then I spent almost 30 minutes repainting it over and over to get the skin tone just right.. then I didn't have a normal paint seal, so I used clear nail polish cause well, ive used it before with acrylic, and it turned out fine, right?
He turned yellow, like lego yellow. You can see Remnants of YELLOW ON THE WHITE OUTLINE. Tried to look up why this happened, no help. Spent 3 minutes desperately trying to remove the dry clear coat to no avail, my guess is the nail polish is expired, that or it just didn't react well with some chemical in the paint. Then, I dug my specially mixed paint colours out of the trash and repainted him YET AGAIN. Now the red is off colour and I need to get a proper paint seal tomorrow 💔 he was a lot paler than this, but the shade i actually needed had dried out so I had to use like the not mixed in kind and like re-mix the colour. At least hes not a lego anymore
No wonder the one time I actually indulge in my hobby, something like this happens. I cannot count how many times I have repainted his face in the last few hours. At least 6+ times. It made my lineart so muddy too since I had to rush repainting it.
If anyone can explain why my nail polish gave him jaundice it'd be greatly appreciated so it doesnt happen again. Please lie to me and tell me it was a happy little accident💔
