In my life - God damn.. I love this song😍

It's so short tho.. only 2min26.. I can't be listening to this song only once, I have to repeat it again and again!! John lennon's voice is soooo good 👌 The mix is perfect👌 I also love the lyrics.. I love Love.. and basically John lennon's saying that he remembers all the good things he lived in his past but the love he found is even better!!! The melody played by georges Martin (their producer) is sooo gooood.. it's just.. a perfect song!!

A -

Ob- la-Di, Ob-la-Da - Love this one! I couldn't put it on S tier because it wouldn't make sense with all the songs I put there already but it's an awesome, fun song!! Love the joyfull thing about it and the lyrics are cheerfull aswell. Just a fun song about two people falling in love and letting their lives going on🤷‍♂️👌😅

Octopus's Garden - One of Ringo's fun song and I love it! Nothing special about it.. just a good song to have fun to🤷‍♂️😅

We all saw Georges helping Ringo for that song on the get back documentary and it was soooo cool to see when we know how Georges was so frustrated about the group who wasn't paying enough attention to his songs even tho Georges was so good!!! I always felt bad about it🥺

C -

Get back - It is a very good song!!!! I love it!!! I put this song on C tier anyway because the lyrics don't touch me, it doesn't transport me into a magic moment like other beatles songs!! It's very good.. nothing more for me!!

D -

Lucy in the sky with diamonds - A song I discovered for my tier list!!! Maybe I need to have a look a it a little more but I didn't really like this one!!! A good thing to talk about is how this song is another example of why the beatles were so good at experiencing new things, new sounds!!! The mix can seem a little strange but it's good. It's just not for me!!!

Hey everyone! Or well… at least the one person who actually follows me 😅

I haven’t been on Tumblr for a while, but I’m back. To kick things off, I decided to make a ranking of Beatles songs, based on my own opinion, split into several parts. Here’s Part 1!

Lets get into it!

S Tier:

Girl – Perfect. Lyrics, composition, mix… a total banger.

Personal note: the lyrics really touch me.

Penny Lane – Great composition 👌, nice mix. The lyrics don’t hit me personally, but the chorus gives such a good, happy feeling.

Fun fact: some trumpet notes remind me of Louis de Funès movie soundtracks 😅 nostalgic vibes!

Let It Be – A classic I could listen to it on repeat forever.

Fun fact: Paul dreamed of his late mom, wrote down what she said, and made it a song 😅 As a big dreamer and creative person, this really touches me.

George Harrison’s solo is amazing 👌, Ringo’s drums are perfect, John Lennon is subtle but important, and Billy Preston adds a calm, beautiful touch on keyboards. A true single, a must in their discography.

B Tier:

A Day in the Life – Two parts (or three, with John returning at the end). I love John’s part: calming voice and mix, it really feels like being inside a dream. I didn’t enjoy Paul’s part at all—it just doesn’t work for me. Combining the two unfinished songs is interesting, and the way it was done in this song, for the time, was very bold and original. This song is immersive and works both for chilling in a playlist or for full focus.

D Tier:

Strawberry Fields Forever – D for Disappointing... I love the intro, but after that, I’m less into it. Good composition and mix, but the lyrics and rhythm don’t move me. Too long for full listens, but still iconic.

This song is symbolic to me. I used to listen to it a lot at the end of 2024.

Even though it speaks about loss and grief… that wasn’t the reason it resonated with me.

For me, it was more about the feeling of being lost in your thoughts, lost in your life.

To me, 2024 was truly the last year of doubt. I had spent years not knowing where I was going, telling myself that I would end up alone and depressed.

Paradoxically, today I’m more afraid than I was back then.

At that time, I had nothing, and I wasn’t afraid of losing anything more.

Today, I feel much better—not happy yet, but I know that maybe, soon, I could be.

2025 is a year of transition. Even though I had the most beautiful encounter at the beginning of the year,

and even though that encounter could become something real by the end of it…

my true new life will probably begin in 2026.

I can’t wait to get there, even though I still don’t know what it will look like.

Today I’m afraid, but I can finally see the end of the tunnel, and from afar, it’s already so beautiful…

I can already see myself living my best life with the person who means the most to me.

I see myself happy, I see her happy, I see us living fully.

This song, even if it may seem childish because of its melody and simple lyrics, still tells a deep story.

Orelsan isn’t the first to say that what matters in life isn’t the destination but the journey. But he says it in such a powerful way.

Being an overthinker, I’m used to thinking about everything, all the time. I have the curse of living moments in delay. I live a 30-second moment, and I think about it for days.

This song reminds me that what matters isn’t how the story ends, but everything that happened along the way.

When I was a kid, I wanted to grow up. When I was in school, I wanted to work. But it’s only when we grow up that we realize we were living our best time. I’m 24. It’s been a few years now that I understand how hard adult life can be (even if I’m not completely in it yet).

I’m happy with the life I have today, and I’m proud of the people around me (as small as my circle may be).

But sometimes I tell myself I would give everything to go back. The only thing that makes me prefer my life today… is the person I love.

Sometimes, I wish I had known her since my youngest years.

With her, I want to build my life. I want us to end up happy, retired, and full of memories — but what I look forward to the most isn’t reaching that point… it’s living those memories. I can’t wait for us to help each other through hard times (because there will be, no matter what), and I can’t wait for us to be fully in the good times (because they will come, no matter what).

For years, I’ve been enduring my life. Today, I am (almost) happy, I am in love… and I want to live my life fully. I want to live, I want to feel alive, I want to be free.

This song is so important to me. I love its sound, but above all, the story it tells.

I wasn’t a country music listener before 2019. (That’s the year I discovered this genre.)

This particular song came into my life in 2020 , a very important year in my life journey. That was the year I lost what was most precious to me at the time: friendship.

The first months were really difficult, and I found myself almost alone. This solitude allowed me to rebuild myself and, above all, to learn to know myself. Before 2020, I gave everything to others. After 2020, I learned to give to myself.

At first, I would listen to this song on repeat while walking outside, on foot or on my skateboard. I was searching for spots to make my “street parts.” I loved this song. Around 2022/2023, I started wanting to find love.

As Neil Young says in this song: “…that keep me searching for a heart of gold, and I’m getting old.”

I would tell myself: “I’m 23 and I’ve never been in love. I don’t want to fall in love for the first time at 50. I want to live my youth being in love. I want to buy my first house with someone who is buying their first house too. I want to experience all the ups and downs of life as a couple with someone who is discovering it too.”

Today, I might've found this “heart of gold.” And just thinking about it already makes me happy. But I’m not sure about anything, and that scares me.

Music of my childhood!

I remember pretending to play the guitar with my Paper Jamz when I was 10, and I would play this song on repeat.

As a kid, speaking French… I didn’t understand the lyrics, and like with many things, it wasn’t until my teenage years that I started to get them. Today, it resonates deeply in me.

This song, about a long-distance love, reminds me of the uncertain love I live.  Far away but so close at the same time. Beautiful and full of fear. This love makes me grow.

It makes me understand that it represents my whole world and that I would do anything to make it real.

Even in doubt, even in fear, it teaches me patience, the value of true emotions, and the beauty of wanting someone bigger than myself. This love pushes me to dream bigger, hope stronger, and remember that the most beautiful stories are not always the easy ones, but the ones that transform us.

Strange: [completely deadpan] She's right. You can't.

Peter Quill: Oh yeah? You don't wanna tell me where she is? That's fine. I'll kill all three of you and beat it out of Thanos myself. [to Spidey] Starting with you.

Strange: Wait, what. Thanos? [trying to inject clarity and sanity into the situation] Alright, let me ask you this one time: What master do you serve?

Peter Quill: What master do I serve? What am I supposed to say? "Jesus"?

Tony Stark: [getting it] You're from Earth?

Peter Quill: I'm not from Earth. I'm from Missouri.

Tony Stark: Yeah, that's on EARTH, dip-shit. What are you hassling us for?

Peter Parker: [sounding slightly crushed] So, you're not with Thanos?

Peter Quill: [indignantly] WITH Thanos?! No, I'm here to kill Thanos! He took my girl. Wait… who are you?

Mantis: You're the ones Thor told us about!

Disclaimer: Even tho no one’s gonna see this — except someone important to me who already knows everything I think — I just want to make sure we’re on the same page. I’ve only known the Marvel universe for about a month, so I don’t know everything. I know nothing about the Multiverse Saga, and I don’t know every character perfectly.

I'm not a fan.. I just love it!!

From my point of view, let's see what I'm thinking about some characters and with another post, we're gonna talk about how Marvel is important!!

We're only gonna talk about the MCU point of view. Let's start from the get-go..

Iron man:

One of the best. He's funny, smart and have a good soul.

The thing I like most about Tony Stark is that he suffered a lot in his past and after succeeding in life, he didn't use his past suffering to hurt people. Some victims of abusers become abusers themselves.. Tony isn't one.

Even tho he can appear arrogant and egotistical, he's fundamentally kind and remains human and vulnerable. His pain is still there, but it doesn’t make him cruel.

I really like this!

Thor:

One of my favorite. I always saw Thor as the strongest avenger. More than Iron man, more than Captain Rogers.. more than everyone.  I know he's not.. but for me, he is! He's funny, arrogant (like every avenger🤣)

I'm scared of what He'll become...

In endgame.. we saw him differently for the most part of the movie. It was funny.. but not really impressive to watch like we used to look at him.

(Like in IW.. when he got his hammer.. (well, his axe) back and shows up in the fight against Thanos's army.. that's the Thor I love to see !!!

Loki:

Very interesting.  I don't know if I love him or If I just like him🤔

I don't usually like liars or people who manipulate.. but somehow he has to.. he lives in a world full of manipulators, so in his place, I'd rather manipulate too and survive than stay honest and get beaten.

I saw Loki season 1.. I can't wait for season 2 but just to say..

I didn't see him with his real potentiel.  I heard he's about to become one the most important character in the multiverse saga but from my point of view.. Loki is a troubled character, unloved and pushed aside. 

One of the things I love about Loki in the Loki series is how we get to see a different side of him. In the Infinity Saga, he’s often seen as a “villain” or a troublemaker, but the show shows he’s much more complex than that. We discover that he’s capable of loyalty and forming real connections, like the one he has with Sylvie. That complexity makes him fascinating, he’s not just “evil,” he’s a really interesting character who surprises you at every turn.

Spider man:

I always liked Spider man. I can't lie.. for me, Tobey Miguire will remain the real Spider man. But don't get me wrong.. Tom Holland is pretty good!!!! His acting is so good that he gave me the desire to know more about his character.  I don't have much to say about him, he's not my favorite but just to conclude.. I love his relationship with Tony Stark and I can't wait to see Spider man in the Multiverse Saga. I want him to become a real important character. 

Nick fury:

I really like Nick,  even tho he doesn’t have any superpowers. He’s the mastermind behind the Avengers, always planning, strategizing, and making tough decisions. He’s mysterious and secretive, which makes him really intriguing, but you can also see that he knows who to trust and is loyal to the people he cares about. He’s experienced, realistic, and often the voice of reason in the middle of chaos.

That said, I wasn’t a big fan of the explanation for his eye in Captain Marvel. The “big mystery” turned out to be just because of a cat, and I feel like it would’ve been more interesting if we’d actually seen the cat before, instead of only in that movie. Honestly, it feels like the writers just needed something to explain it, they didn't have a clue what they were gonna write and they chose a funny explanation. which is a bit disappointing and makes the mystery less intriguing.

Wanda:

Wanda is already insanely powerful, but I know I haven’t even seen what she’s truly capable of. She’s emotional and complex, which makes her relatable despite her incredible magic. Her abilities are unique, and she can be both loving and loyal, but also absolutely terrifying when pushed. That mix of strength and vulnerability is what makes her so fascinating.

Vision:

I don’t know everything about Vision, but there are a few things I like about him. He’s this mix of machine and human — super intelligent and powerful, yet capable of emotions. I also really like his relationship with Wanda; it shows he can love and be loyal, even tho he’s not “fully human.” And I like how calm and thoughtful he is, it makes him stand out from the other heroes.

Captain:

Last but not least.. I don't even need to introduce him.. obviously, I love him. But why?

Steve Rogers is the symbole of a hero!! He never gives up, never backs down and always faces his responsibilities.

The love he has for Peggy is so strong.. we never see him tempted by other women. He always stands firm in his principles.

He's handsome but I kind of don't care about it but still... he's very good looking.

He's strong, I love the way he fights.  He's not the most impressive compared to Iron man, Hulk or Thor.. but his athleticism and strength are still very impressive.  He has all the things to hate him or love him.. I love him. Some people, (like one person in particular I'm thinking about), doesn't like him cause he's arrogant, he always want to be right.. actually,  that's also why I love him🤷‍♂️

If he was so arrogant and doing nothing but good afterwards.. I wouldn't like him that much.. but is he arrogant ? Yeah.. very!! But afterwards,  he manages everything like a champ. Like a hero.

Now, here's my top...

4 - Loki (Loki will probably be n°3 or n°2 tho)

5 - Vision

6 - Wanda

7 - Nick Fury

8 - Spider Man

I could've talked about some other characters but these are my favorites.

I could've mentioned:  Hawkeye, Dr Strange, Black Panther, Falcon, and I really could've talked about Thanos.. maybe one day, I'll make a post about him.

I agree that they shouldn't've left the Avengers in anyone else's hands than themselves. They just needed to control everything and stop messing shit up!!

(I mean.. yeah.. they more or less came back with IW and Endgame... but it wasn't and it'll never be the same again..😓😓😭😭😭
