Did anybody else come across the Samantha & Nathan moment at the hospital? Same thing with Nathan & his dad? Just curious.

 @wynonna-sanvers  Okay weird thing about my playthrough- that moment was replaced by Sean prescott and Samantha’s mother fighting because Nathan apparently broke her ribcage in two places??? And as Prescott iss threatening her he shuts the door A I couldn’t even see my ending montage because my game crapped out (I have the laptop version) after my final choice and unlike the original game you can’t rewatch the entire ending in collector mode. I had to watch it on youtube and one of the versions I came across show her ignoring Nathan while she reads by the tree (which seems like an underreaction????) I learned from the TV Tropes page that this happens if you don’t defend Nathan (my computer kept acting up during that backtalk challenge and after SEVEN attempts I gave up and let Drew bully him) and then you tell her to be supportive after the play ( I have a host of questions about that…)

I guess what i would like to know from your playthrough is why Samantha is at the hospital and what were those interactions like because I am so curious and am very confused about that story line in episode 3

I would like to apologize for not getting back to you sooner. I’ve been busy all day and just got home. Also, I checked tumblr once today, so I’m sorry I didn’t get back to you sooner!

HEADS UP: this will be lengthy lol

I’m sorry that your game had to crap out like that. I know stuff like that can take away from the experience, but I hope you enjoyed the game none the less!

In response to your question, I did two playthroughs. I’ll just talk about what I experienced in the hospital so you can get an idea about how differently each played out.

In my first playthrough, I defended Nathan against Drew and told Samantha to be there for him at the Tempest play in the second episode. At the hospital, Samantha and Nathan were both there and I guess Nathan hit Samantha while riding his bike and Samantha sprained her wrist. Samantha was telling him that she was alright and Nathan kept apologizing. The last thing that Nathan said before the door closed was “Let me take a picture of you.” I’m going off of this by memory, so I’m not entirely sure how accurate that is, and I couldn’t hear it very well, but I don’t think I’m too far off. I know for a fact that at the ending, with the montage, Nathan approaches Samantha at the tree that she sits at. He sits down with her and they smile at each other and everything is great.

In my second playthrough, I didn’t defend Nathan and I told Samantha that it would be best to give Nathan space. At the hospital, it’s just Sean and a psychiatrist; I don’t think Nathan was actually there. Their discussion was more lengthy and the psychiatrist was talking about how Nathan’s irrational behavior was getting worse and that he needs to seek more help. Before the door closes, Sean says that the psychiatrist is making things worse, not better. Again, I’m basing this on memory so I don’t remember what they said verbatim, but I can’t be too far off. At the third episode montage, Nathan approaches Samantha at the tree, but she gets up and leaves.

Those were the situations I encountered with Nathan, Samantha, and Sean. I had no idea that Samantha’s mom could be involved; I didn’t even know that she existed in the game. I had seen her talked about on tumblr and Hailey even mentioned it on her Twitter, but I thought it ended up being a deleted scene. What you encountered was very interesting and it looks like I might have to play it a third time or check out that video. I’m curious now.
