• 16 y/o girl who’s way too introspective and spends most of her time living inside her own head. i overthink literally everything, so this blog is basically where all those thoughts will end up.

• if i had to be a color, i’d probably be yellow. * even though my favorite color is soft pink.* ☀️

• i’m obsessed w books, music, romcoms, art… basically anything that makes me feel something. i love writing too and i’m christian! :) i love Jesus.

• english isn’t my first language *it’s portuguese btw* but i actually prefer using it whenever i’m alone. so this blog is also my little place to practice it <3

• expect random thoughts, late-night yapping, little life updates, playlists, books, pretty things, and whatever’s on my mind that day.

Jesus is such a nice guy!!

today i was looking for my fabric spray to spray on my clothes, but i couldn’t found it. so i prayed “Jesus, please… come here and help me look for it”, and then, i corrected myself , saying to Him: “oh! but u can’t come down here and look for it w’ me, side by side.” and AT THE EXACT MOMENT i found my spray in the most random place. i would’ve never looked there.

today’s lesson: Jesus, my Friend, can do EVERYTHING with me & be by my side

things are just weird when you’re growing up.

when i was a child, i used to say, “when i grow up, i want to be a doctor.” and now… here i am.

i’ll turn 17 this year—the same year i’ll graduate from high school. but when did that happen? one day i was just playing with my dolls, pretending i was a pediatrician taking care of them. now i’ve grown up, and i still want to be a doctor.

the difference is that now i realize it’s not as easy as i thought it would be when i was little. obviously, i have to study. i have to pass the college entrance exam. i have to start building my future… at 17.

but at the same time, i’m just 17.

i’m just a teenage girl. i still love watching barbie life in the dream house and peppa pig. i’m still afraid of the dark, and sometimes of heights.

i’m still just a kid, and somehow i’m also expected to hold my future in my hands. and then i remember that little girl who dreamed of becoming a doctor one day.

that’s when i realize something:

it’s my turn to make her dream come true, and i need to do it for her. ;)

diary of an introvert girl.

day 1- a vent

sometimes i feel so bland for being an introvert. i wish i were more communicative, but sometimes i don’t want to talk. sometimes i want to talk, but i don’t know how to start a conversation. or maybe, when i’m in a place where everyone is talking too much, i find myself in a corner, being quiet —because i’m a quiet girl— and it seems like i don’t have a personality, or i’m just bland yk? i know that i’m a cool, gentle, communicative person, but not everyone gets access to this side of me. and sometimes i just don’t understand myself because i’m an extroverted girl too when i’m with my friends—or maybe not.

idk if i’m the only one who thinks about stuff like this or if u introverts feel the same
