I genuinely feel like if you refuse to read tsats then you shouldn’t insert yourself in conversations about solangelo. How could you possibly have anything relevant to say about the characters when you won’t even acknowledge their series? The fandom already has a huge problem when it comes to mischaracterizations because they like the idea of Will and Nico more than they actually like Will and Nico so why make it worse by talking about things you have no idea about?

Ep 12 thoughts :

I wish they didn’t wait until the last episode for Fadel and Bison to go to prison. They could’ve shown us more about how they it affected them and which ways it changed them

To add on to that instead of telling us how Kant and Style have been while the brothers were away they could’ve shown us

The ‘penguin’ call back really means nothing when it was never taken seriously or used properly. They treat like a silly little inside joke instead of something that’s meant to be important

Kant and Style getting involved with the prison almost made me stop watching. It’s like they think viewers can’t go more than 5 minutes without seeing the couples shove their tongues down each other’s throats

Do you really expect me to believe Kant and Style regularly teach at the prison for multiple years just so they can sneak kisses with their boyfriends?

Half this episode is literally just them making out. The plot was already barely there but they really just gave up in the end

However, I liked Fadel and Style talking about how Style was getting too busy at the garage, Fadel’s disappointment and whether or not their timing was off. That’s what the whole episode should’ve been about

Throwing in some random conflict in the last 30 minutes that lasted less than 10 minutes, especially after they filled the first 50 minutes with literally nothing is so unserious and not in a good way. Not to mention they barely even mention Babe and Style’s dads reactions to the brothers being hitmen

I watched most of it on 2x speed. I find most finales to be boring which is why my dnf list is so long 😭😭😭 but this was definitely one of the worst

Ep 2-11 thoughts :

The pacing was a little off for me. Some parts seemed a bit rushed

I’m a sucker for E2L so I thought I’d like FadelStyle more but the locker room scene completely threw me off

Bison and Kant feel so unserious sometimes but I lowkey like it. They have such and interesting dynamic

The moments where Kant was clearly wondering what he got himself into were some of the best scenes to me

Most of these ‘sexy’ scenes make me cringe.

Every fight scene looks sooooo bad.

I feel like the show kept bringing up important topics (bdsm, grooming, the support group) but didn’t take them seriously

I did not care for Keen and the mom AT ALL

The ‘make them fall in love then kill then plan’ felt so silly to me because Kant and Style were already very clearly in love. Plus it only took them 2 days to start their ‘revenge’

WTH was the point of that random couple. I get they wanted Fadel to soften back up but it was so out of place. I fast forwarded through all of those scenes. So boring

I hate how marriage is viewed as ‘fix all’. If you have problems before marriage you’re gonna have problems after too

I wasn’t a big fan of Fadel to begin with but ended up being my favorite character

Episode 1 thoughts:

The plot feels feels kind of like a fanfic. Hitman x undercover agent sent to them down. Nothing too special for but that can change as the show progresses (also I’m not sure if it’s because of the app but the sound quality is…not good)

Kant is bold. It’s nothing new for First play characters like that however it feels a bit different this time around. I like it though

Bison is a bit naive. He feels much younger than 24. If they didn’t say his age I would’ve thought he was 18-20. Overall I don’t have any issues with his character. Out of everyone one I’m most excited to see how he grows and matures as the story progresses

Fadel nags way too much and he acts so suspicious. I understand not wanting someone to come across incriminating evidence but being shifty and aggressive will just make more people curious about what he’s hiding

Style is a bit too childish for my liking. He’s very clearly meant to be the comic relief but I just don’t find him to be that funny

The episode a couple of good moments (specifically the scene with Bison trying to make a burger. Why open up a burger shop? Was Kant their first ever customer without Fadel around? Is Fadel really the only chef? What happens when it gets busy? I don’t know but it made me genuinely laugh) unfortunately the rest was just kind of bleh. Hopefully I start to enjoy it more as it progresses
