Mikleo’s last kiss/hug after the final battle before Sorey goes to sleep.
You can think of it as a hug or a kiss but for me, there’s something sweet there…so it’s a kiss (or both).
And…
This is another reason on how the manga and the game complete each other. In the game we only saw how Mikleo’s passing Sorey before the camera view changed and in the manga we can’t guess that the circle is Mikleo (because it’s black and white ofc). Unlike certain adaptation which goes way too far and doesn’t make sense anymore *sigh*
Things possible in Gakuen Bungou Stray Dogs:
–Odasaku living a happy life he deserves
–Odasaku taking care of the 5 kids
–Odasaku taking care of Dazai
–Odasaku hearing about Atsushi from Dazai
–Odasaku taking care of Atsushi
–Odasaku and Atsushi talking about Dazai
–Odasaku and Dazai and Atsushi happy together
me @ anyone who thinks kunikida isn’t a complex and important character
kunikida is fucking great and i am SO not here for this kunikidiscourse
I really hope next season features a lot more of Victor’s POV because I’m 90% sure we’ll get a lot of scenes that are just like: Yuuri, in the morning, terrible bedhead, barely awake, scratching his ass and banging around the kitchen trying to start the coffee maker
while Victor’s internal narration is going ‘beautiful. magnificent. dazzling. what have I done in my life to deserve being so blessed with such a sublime human being.’
shipping is disgusting you should all be ashamed of yourselves
I know I’ve already addressed this before but i can’t help but wonder to myself when I saw these quite powerful scenes
Do you think this is Victor mentally begging for Yurio to do something, if only to prevent Yuuri from retiring?
And Yurio silently answered his plea
Only to break down in tears because he thought he’d failed after that accident fall?
Tears were shed for this show. For the past 12 weeks I’ve been watching, fangirling and praising it. It’s wonderful and probably made me felt the happiest out of all the things I’ve watched. I’m not exaggerating, really. It makes me sad that people skip Yuri on Ice just because it’s “gay” or what not. They’re missing out on the other beautiful aspects this show brought up to the surface that others failed to do. But I’m glad that YoI saved a lot of people and made them feel all sorts of emotion again (same goes for me).
Thank you very much Yuri on Ice and its staff for being a breath of fresh air and made 2016 a lil’ better! 💕
To be honest,
I’m not sad that Yuri on Ice has ended.
In fact, I’m eternally grateful to the creators of this anime, for not just giving us the entertainment each week, but for showing us a same-sex relationship without fear of criticism or shame from others.
There may be a season 2 and we will all wait for that eagerly, but these twelve episodes have really shown us a new world. The development of a relationship between two skaters, the portrayal of other side characters that makes them unique and not just subs, the feeling of how real the anime is. It doesn’t give us queerbait.
Its execution was done perfectly, with many details here and there that can mean so much, connection of different elements in the show that link to one single intepretation.
It also teaches us about the anxiety we face from the worry Katsuki Yūri feels about himself and others. It tells us that we can reach our dreams if you work hard, and not only that, but that we are allowed to feel anxious and scared and nervous in the process. It is a normal part of reaching your goal.
The main theme, too, was the relationship between Yūri and Viktor. I, as a bi, am extremely happy and grateful that there is an anime that is not afraid to portray a gay relationship. It makes me feel that we are not rejected from society, that we are accepted, that we are not being stereotyped, and that LGBTQ+ relationships are what boy-girl relationships are - filled with hardship, rocky paths, but most importantly, love.
And I would like to extend my greatest thanks to Kubo and the other creators of this wonderful anime for all the 12 episodes of beauty they have provided us with.
I want to thank kubo-sensei for saving 2k16
protect him
ALL MENTAL BREAKDOWNS, JOKES, AND MEMES ASIDE, THIS BLOG HAS FAITH IN KUBO’S WRITING AND FIRMLY BELIEVES THAT VICTOR AND YUURI ARE STAYING TOGETHER.
I have never needed the next episode as badly as with Yuri on Ice.
But also…
I don’t want the new ep. Because it’s the last one.
I want answers and I want solutions but I don’t want this to end.
THE DILEMMA.
Yuuri and Victor pair skate? A wedding?
Watching Yuri on ice ep 11 like
The reason why yuri decided to ‘end this’
The scene when Yuri can’t find Victor and finds him watching Yurio’s scores, he realizes something.
He realizes he is holding Victor back by making him his coach until he retires. Yurio has beaten Victor’s world record, and he realizes he’s the ball and chain holding him back to only watch from the sidelines as other skaters beat his 5 year reign.
He sees him being inspired by Chris, and his longing to get back onto the ice to take back his throne and compete with them.
Yuri watches as skater after skater after skater beat him in the free skate, and Yurio (whom he had beaten on onsen on ice) get the winning position and mock him relentlessly.
And when Victor looked inspired and said ‘He’s great, that was very exotic! It felt so fresh!’ He flinches again, as Victor praises other skaters.
He knows he has let Victor down, himself down, and everyone he had promised gold to.
His insecurities flare up again, as he realizes he is not good enough to win the Grand Prix Final, and that he’s pulling down Victor with him.
Instead of Victor making that choice to abandon him (in his mind) he decides to do it himself.
