Sometimes I wanna follow people but figure I’m not quality enough to interact so I just...give up lmao. Being off my meds is awful I literally second guess every little thing I do???
legendleft:
She figured as much. In the seconds before unconsciousness overtook her, Trigel has seen the full extent of the wreckage. Wherever she was, she was stranded, but at least she seemed to have friends here.
“Trigel,” she answered, tossing back the pills and pursing her lips at the flavor. “Why are you here?”
“The Galra took over my home centuries ago—to simply put it, we have nowhere else to go. Only the most unsustainable planets make for safe refuge from the Galra’s reign.” On this planet it was devoid of life—any food they obtained had to be brought from another near by planet, but it was always a risk. Amaranthine tried her best to not look too forlorn. No matter how many years passed she still ached for her home planet.
Anyways folks in case y’all are confused I’m the same mun as @schwarzpaladin!!
legendleft:
This is why she wasn’t a pilot.
The atmosphere was strange, seemingly pulling at her craft until a small mistake on her part sent her plummeting towards the planet’s core. She landed in something soft, thankfully, but it still knocked her clean out.
Trigel blearily opened her eyes at the sound of her voice, even a turn of her head sending spikes of pain through her neck. She whimpered softly, shifting beneath the heavy furs. At least she was warm - and not alone.
“Where are we?” she asked, propping herself up on her elbows and stretching the soar muscles.
Her head hurt something fierce, and she was sure there was some sort of spinal injury that made her toes tingle - but nothing felt permanent, and she was well enough to clearly make out her rescuer. She was tall - taller than herself, and though she couldn’t see her face just yet, Trigel felt soothed by her voice. This was a friend. Of that, she was almost certain.
So many years, and she could usually tell when someone wished her harm.
“And thank you.”
“We are on a nameless planet in the Centaurus Galaxy.” Amaranthine stood to her full height, setting down the communicator and turning her full attention to the survivor. “I’m afraid your ship could not be salvaged.” She took a pill bottle from a small, beaten up nightstand and dispensed two berry red pills from it.
“Take these—for the pain. They taste like berries.” She held out the pills for her to take. “They shouldn’t have any side effects.” Amaranthine knew that the woman must be sore. It was likely in her best interest to take them. “My name is Amaranthine.”
❛ milk & honey ❜ redux | part one
Rupi Kaur (born 5 October 1992) is a Canadian poet, writer, illustrator and performer. She published a book of poetry and prose entitled milk and honey in 2015. The book deals with themes of violence, abuse, love, loss, and femininity. milk and honey has sold over a million copies, reaching #1 and spending over a year on the New York Times bestsellers list. (source)
There is another Milk & Honey sentence meme going around in the rpc, but I decided to break out my copy and give it a shot. This will be split up into three or four (or more?) parts just like the book.

The Hurting
How is it so easy for you to be kind to people?
He was the first boy to teach me my body was for giving to those that wanted.
You have been taught your legs are a pit stop for for men that need to rest. A vacant body empty enough for guests, but no one ever comes and is willing to stay.
It is your blood in my veins. How am I supposed to forget?
You were so afraid of my voice, I decided to be afraid of it too.
Every time you tell your daughter you yell at her out of love, you teach her to confuse anger with kindness.
I’ve had sex, but I don’t know what making love feels like.
If I knew what safety looked like, I would have spent less time falling into arms that are not.
The idea that we are so capable of love, but still choose to be toxic…
The ___ will tear you in half, but it will not end you.
You have sadness living in places sadness shouldn’t live.
A daughter should not have to beg her father for a relationship.
Trying to convince myself I should take up space is like writing with my left hand when I was born to use my right.
The idea of shrinking is hereditary.
You tell me to quiet down because my opinions make me less beautiful.
I was not made with a fire in my belly so I could be put out.
I was not made with a lightness on my tongue so I could be easy to swallow.
I was made heavy: half blade and half silk; difficult to forget and not easy for the mind to follow.
Your mother is in the habit of offering more love than you can carry.
You are a war: the border between two countries, the collateral damage.
The art of being empty is simple.
The only reason you know you’re still alive is from the heaving of your chest.
You look just like your mother. You both have the same eyes—and the hands.
You look just like your mother.
You both have the same eyes—and the hands.
I guess I do carry her tenderness well.
But your rage… Your mother doesn’t wear that anger.
The rage is the one thing I get from my father.
The women in my family learned to live with their mouths closed.
You always call to say nothing in particular. You ask what I’m doing or where I am and when the silence stretches like a lifetime between us, I scramble to find questions to keep the conversation going.
I don’t blame you for not knowing how to remain soft with me.
greenroar:
“ Oh.. um, well thank you. ” THE COMPLIMENT caught her off guard for a bit, but was soon brushed under the rug. A small smile was given in return. “ You aren’t alone. ”
“You’re welcome.” She bowed her head. Sometimes it certainly felt like they were alone. For how many centuries had they fought for themselves? “We are at your disposal, Paladin.”
“Calling all ladies: my jaw is the perfect place for sitting.”

Amaranthine gives up her own bed for the injured woman without second thought—there isn’t much room in their little hideout. Hell, there isn’t much of anything. It is a cold planet, but not as cold as her own home. The air around her is chilling, but their current visitor is buried under thick, fur blankets. The heir wears furs herself, but the cold air is enough to send a shiver down her spine. It will only become warmer during the day & dawn will not rise for another fifteen hours.
She is reading reports from other rebel factions when she hears her stir. Amaranthine shifts in her seat, head tilting as snow white hair falls over her eyes. “Try not to move much. Your injuries have been healed—for the most part—but internal damage still may linger.” She tries her best to keep her voice soft and comforting.
“are you a top or a bottom?” i’m a threat
Amaranthine trying to flirt is the Ultimate Disaster(TM). She’s not smooth at all. Somebody help her!!
wrongblooded:
Mind still foggy from the rift and the crash, Lotor hears before he sees. His limbs ache, a pounding in his head begging for water and a pain in his stomach preaching just how long it had been since he last ate.
He stirred with a soft groan, eyes slowly being peeled open by sheer will. There were metallic cuffs about his wrists and ankles - they couldn’t have been that tight but it felt suffocating to be chained and for one, horrible moment, he thought it was Sendak who found him.
Or worse - Haggar.
But the voice he heard belonged to neither and once his vision cleared, the panic ebbed into something much more manageable. From here ( wherever here was ) he could escape.
He was not on death row yet.
“Given that I am not dead,” he grumbled, voice hoarse, “I assume you’re not an enemy. But the chains say you’re not an ally.”
He forced his head up, chin tilted in haughty defiance as he did his best to school his features into a bored glare.
“Who are you?”
“Amaranthine Xifri Allani.” She did not expect him to know the name—royalty tended to be arrogant. Especially Galran royalty. Amaranthine set a hand on her hip, head tilting to the side slightly as she frowned.
“You are worth more to me alive than dead.” It was a truthful answer. There were questions she had—demands that she wanted to make. “You are worth more to the universe alive than dead. You have much to answer for.”
She shifted her weight to the heels of her feet. “You may not be Zarkon, but you are still his blood. His sins are yours as well since you so eagerly took his throne.” Galrans were always hungry for power. The fact that this one was half Altean made no difference to Amaranthine.
Also pls…don’t misgender Amaranthine. Don’t send me asks calling her a man. She’s 100% passing so you’ve got no excuse. I’ve had this happen before on other blogs & I do not want it happening here. If she’s comfortable with you & the topic comes up for some reason she might mention that she’s trans, but if you’re making it incredibly obvious that you’re trying to out her for absolutely no reason then that’s pretty shitty too. Also, don’t ask what she’s got going on downstairs either. That’s literally only for her partners to know! & even then if her partner was disrespectful about it she’d fuckin’ dump them.
@greenroar
“You’re so pretty. Green definitely suits you, you know?” She flashes a smile, fangs glinting as she did so. “I never thought I’d live to see the day that the paladins of Voltron returned. It’s good to know that we aren’t the only ones fighting against the Galra.”
