A little out of the ordinary post. No sewing updates here. This is just a cutesy little post with pictures from my home garden. 💚✨️

Also I wanted to celebrate really quick: the My spider lilies!!!❤️✨️ I am OBSESSED!!😍✨️ My lovely aunt gifted them to me sometime the beginning of this year!! I am very proud to say they are growing so BIG!!! 😭🫶✨️

Very grateful for such a beautiful and peaceful day 🌱✨️

Kitty Cushion

I have a collection of squares from different various scrappy materials that are kept for future quilt related projects. I also keep plenty of my Super scrappy fabrics to use for stuffing. I noticed my cats enjoying the window in front of my craftroom and decided to get to work creating a lil patchwork cushion. They do enjoy the cushion. It warms my heart.

Created an "Open/Closed" sign for the craftroom!

a two year old was ripped away from her father, and deported against judges orders. a four year old, deported alone. a man, an icu nurse may i add, tackled to the ground and beaten before getting shot. all because he was defending women on the street from ice agents. these events happened in the past TWO DAYS.

🇧🇷 — Bela e primitiva, esta é a aranha do gênero Lyssomanes, a Papa-moscas-verde. Como a maioria das aranhas que posto, esta também é fêmea. Mas seu dimorfismo sexual é um pouco diferente das outras. Os machos geralmente são tão grandes quanto as fêmeas e possuem quelíceras alongadas com presas afiadas, usadas para cortejar moças como esta ou para intimidar rivais que possam invadir seu território.

🇺🇲 — Beautiful and primitive, this is the spider of the genus Lyssomanes, the Green Jumping Spider. Like most of the spiders I post, this one is also female. But their sexual dimorphism is a little different from most. Males are usually as big as the females, and they have elongated chelicerae with sharp fangs, used to court pretty ladies like this one or to intimidate rivals who may invade their territory.
