And I would appreciate your help with the whole Ancient Egypt subject.❜ Alex had missed spending all his time with Ryou, but considering all the papers he had to grade (and sometimes, students were really idiotic) his free time had been limited.

❝What were you thinking for dinner? I’ve still got some of those essays to grade, but I’d rather put that off for now. I have no idea how some of these students are even passing…❜

So he’d prefer to have a nice dinner with Ryou. Alex was certain that more than half the school knew about his relationship with his student, and it was definitely a scandal and a half— But since Alex was still allowed to teach, and he honestly graded everything based on skill and accuracy instead of favoritism the whole relationship was overlooked in his reputation.

Which he was eternally grateful for.

A soft laugh to fall from parted lips, "I learned new recepis so if you wanted you could come over?" he offered, eyes to twinkle. Just talking to Alex often made the duelist happy.

"Oh and Sensei, if you'd like I can help out." he offered. It was better this way, keep it in the open, hide nothing. He wouldn't have Alex be unhappy and why hide something that seemed to make both men happy.

"Oh yeah... Be careful." he warned gently. "I heard the superintedent of the school system is supposed to be here soon." Ryou knew the one person who could yank away happiness was that man, but at thet moment as he reached out and took Alex's hand in his own.

All that escaped Ryou was a small laugh, "I can help with that. I'm rather knowledgeable about Ancient Egypt." he explained, offering him that small smile, teal eyes twinkling. "Maybe over dinner after school, Sensei? I have a report I'm writing I'd like to go over with you anyway." he stated with a grin. Reality, he just wanted to spend time with the elder again. "If that's okay I mean?"

It was perhaps the first time to witness this particular individual bursting with such confidence, and what not. A good sight to witness, and a good reason to make a genuine curve to be engraved upon the wise man’s visage.

Mostly, it was him, due to his experience with such circumstances, but if it wasn’t the support of his beloved comrades, the result would have been as mentioned in an oblique way, in his response.

The albino was happy and it showed in the twinkle of teal eyes and the curve of his lips as he bowed his head in respect to the elder male. "Maybe sometime you and I can play a different game, no souls at risk, maybe chess?" he offered. He wanted to have friends who wouldn't be at risk when he played games with them.

The spirit looked a tad curious for a moment before the slight grin made it’s way onto his lips. “Ahh.. so you remember me.” He hadn’t really ever been thanked before.. and for that reason it almost through him. He wasn’t sure exactly how to respond right away. “It was no problem. Perhaps the next time you and I play a game it will be a normal one.” He got the feeling that this boy he wouldn’t mind playing a friendly game with.

A laugh fell past the silverett's lips as he offered a genuine smile. "I'd like that very much. Maybe soon we can all play Monster World together and this time, the game'll be fun rather than a battle of our souls." He felt so at ease even around this darker spirit, but then. What was darkness to Ryou Bakura. "By the way, what do I call you? I know you're not Yuugi and it wouldn't be fair to call you as such."
