"You’d think that, after all the times I’ve had to chase after you, the doubts would have worn off by now."
Phillip raised an eyebrow as he leaned against a particularly tall boulder, fingertips running along the length of a weathered line in the stone’s surface. If it weren’t for the momentary panic that her sudden disappearances always created (usually consisting of the thoughts ‘oh-for-the-love-of-all-that’s-holy-did-another-fairy-curse-her?’), he wouldn’t have been irritated in the slightest. But he was. More than a tad bit so. Then again, he did understand the need to escape, so that irritation was muted into hues of soft rose rather than flames of crimson.

"The castle is a difficult for me to be in, I grew up in isolation with only fairies and other mythical creatures for company. The minds of humans can be rather startling at times."
Her mind flickered to the memory of a feast she had attended, much to her horror she had seen a roasted pig on the table, whilst this was normal for others she had grown up a vegetarian. At his next statement a smile spread across her lips.
"It is isnt it? Would you like to see the river?"
