[ feeling super iffy about the future of this blog. i know it's not a contest to be the best, and it's not that i feel bad about my portrayal either because i really like my anna, but there are just so many great annas out there, you know?

i just don't feel like i have a place here. ]

          Boats still did not make him feel any comfort. While the voyage to Arendelle did not seem as daunting as it had the last, he still dreading the movement of the waves. Water and he still did not get along, and relief came all too quickly as he felt the boat meet to the docks of the foreign kingdom. He adjusted his crown as he exited the cabin and expelled a calming breath. He himself had to pass presentably. He did not have many trips here, but he did not want to make any bad impressions.

A part of him was surprised he did not see the Queen awaiting his arrival as she had on his first visitation, but given the early hour he could not blame her for that. He was to see her soon – and it seemed that he was getting the chance to meet the sister he had not been graced with. As he came the landing to the Princess, a bow followed the young woman’s curtsy. “A pleasure to make your acquaintance, Princess Anna. I am King Gaara of the Sand Waterfall. My apologies, for having arrived so early; you must be tired.”

     A brief moment was spent adjusting her skirts before her hands returned to fold together in front of her, smile still in place. "There's no need to apologize, sir," she replied lightly. "And I assure you, I'm perfectly fine. You traveled so far to visit our humble kingdom; waking up a little bit earlier than usual is hardly anything in comparison." She'd imagine that leaving her home for some distant, faraway place would be exciting, but daunting at the same time, so every word on the subject was genuine.

     "You arrived a little earlier than we expected, though -- but being early is much better than being late, don't you think, sir?" she continued, tone casual but still polite in every respect. "If you wouldn't mind a short wait after we arrive, we can start the meeting a little earlier if you would like to." She took a step in the direction of the castle, then turned back to the king. "If you would please follow me."

[ putting drafts on pause to get this idea out: au where elsa and anna were raised up to be champion ice dancers, and elsa’s just the best at it but anna can’t ever get the hang of it, so anna switches to hockey and she really loves it and gets super into it. bonus: she has to join an all-men team because their ice rink doesn’t have a hockey team for women, and that’s how she meets hans and kristoff y/y? ]
