It’s very clear that Scott & Kip are NOT side characters, they are the secondary protagonists of Heated Rivalry..
The promotional material is making it very LOUD and these two men in love are just as important as IIya/Shane

The Skip storyline is essential because what they do by the end of Game Changers basically sets up the intimacy and eventual 'im in love w u and this isnt just sex' conversation between Ilya/Shane. Without SKip, Ilya and Shane as endgame wouldve never happened.
The way Shane was trying to rage-bait Scott, but Scott did an uno reverse on him by basically saying this:
I think people on that Elon musk app needs to understand that Scott & Kip was GIFTED domestic bliss reliever after llya & Shane two episode situationship fuck fest, it’s alright for a show to put focus on OTHER CHARACTERS.
The absolute mystery of the episode 3 title is making warm me inside, I love when shows be cryptic for shits & giggles, and obviously gonna be “Hunter” since it’s supposed to be Scott & Kip focused.

i know i've had a good ha ha at the richard siken incident(s), and i stand by that, but if you can't see why a gay man might have complex feelings towards his poems about AIDS being used as fandom slop then you're either playing dumb or shamefully ignorant.
The last thing I’m gonna say is do yall truly think the man making pride posts, Black Lives Matter posts, liking and commenting on vote for Kamala Harris posts, outwardly supporting Pete Buttigieg on multiple platforms, paints his nails, actively talks about fighting toxic masculinity because of how his father treated him, and is praised by every single woman who knows him is a man who would support K*rks bullshit? Or is it more likely that he has a natural, empathetic, human reaction to someone getting shot and murdered in broad daylight on a college campus in front of hundreds of people including his wife and daughter? You can be shocked, disgusted, appalled, and empathetic towards a situation without having to support the victim. K*rk was a piece of shit through and through and I’m not sad he’s dead, but I’m not gonna sit here and say I’m not disgusted at the violence that happened to him and that I don’t have empathy towards his wife and children. Having nuance emotion is part of being a human being. I’m not gonna tell anyone how to feel, but writing off a guy you’ve spent the last year losing your mind over all over some most likely accidental reposts of some videos you don’t fully agree with is and odd reaction.
I’m not doing to defend ANYTHING but I will continue to watch the show and ship BT because I simply want reap the rewards of the labor I’ve spent, and let’s be honest, everyone is gonna forget this entire Charlie K*rk bs once it dies down.
(Pun very much intended)
So. Lou’s reposts. Embarrassing? Yes. Disappointing? Sure. Vile enough to be lumped in with RG’s bullshit? Not even fucking close.
I’m sorry, but reposting precisely two reaction videos, as embarrassing as they are, is nowhere near as horrendous as;
Openly admitting to using racial slurs as casually as talking about the weather
Sharing anti-vax content (including comparing the vaccine mandate during covid to fucking Nazi Germany)
Sharing racist reels
Reposting blatant transphobia
Reposting blatant homophobia
That entire gender essentialism podcast he did last year
And the countless other moments of right wing clownery we’ve seen from RG over the past five years. By all means, be disappointed in Lou if that’s how you feel. But don’t sit there and pretend he’s anywhere near as bad as RG is, because we can quite literally prove that he’s not.
BITCH.. Oliver is serving SUFFICIENT FACE CARD
Now that Oliver is the leading man of the series, I don't think he's gonna stay the perpetual bachelor.
Athena will be the widowed matriarch.
HenRen will stay HenRen, no changes to their storylines or drama, but, now Madney gets a bump from newly married couple to solidly married couple whose problems focus mainly on the kids.
Buck will now get to move into Madney's role. Oh, but he's currently single? Yes, yes, but you see what they've set up with him and Tommy? Yup. Buck and Tommy will get back together and have the fun, new couple storylines and hijinks.
So...Eddie...single dad who has only ever had storylines about being a single dad. He will now get the straight version of Buck and Tommy's meet cute in season 7. He will be the newly dating one. And this time....it will stick.
Ravi will now be the perpetual bachelor of the 118. Harry will probably join him in Bachelorhood eventually, but not until season 10 or 11, which could also be when Ravi gets into a pairing (maybe May...maybe someone else).
But...back to Buck/Oliver....
With Peter gone, I can totally see them wanting to give Buck more serious storylines, and Oliver wants Buck to be settled. With 2 seasons of development already there, it makes the most sense to bring Tommy back for good.
It's also why I do think there's a chance Lou could get bumped up to main.
Agree with all of this (though I don't think Lou will ever get bumped up to main...unless they start branching out into stories with Harbor, he's likely to just stay at the same status as Karen/Tracie). But yeah, Buck is now at an age where perpetually unable to hold down an adult relationship isn't really cute. The man's in his mid-thirties, giving him "dumb id just trying to figure things out" doesn't really fit anymore. Especially since they've established that he WANTS the partner, the home, the family (whether that includes kids or he's just happy being an uncle), the person of his own who reciprocates him prioritizing them by making him THEIR priority.
We've had two seasons of up and down drama with Buck and Tommy, their issues have been laid out, and the show has established that despite those issues, they still prioritize each other and want to be together. So now the logical conclusion is to move past the issues and into the next phase of the relationship.
Same with Eddie...I'm honestly kind of seesawing back and forth between them giving HIM the "I can be happy alone" storyline and just having him reconnecting with his son and accepting that Shannon was the love of his life, or giving him the storyline where he finally lets go of Shannon and moves forward with a new LI. I find the buzz they were giving us about the "Gina" character and the implications that the Dia De Los Muertos episode will heavily feature him interesting. With Tim hinting that something will happen that has Eddie being the one to jump towards the supernatural the way Buck usually does, are we maybe getting Shannon giving him her blessing to move on? Lots of possibilities. But yeah, I definitely it's time for Buck and Eddie to move onto the next phase of their lives and let Ravi (and maybe Harry) have the "hot young bachelor" stories.
