Marchly beach filler ep 🌊 hurt/comfort drabble thing
The March’s & Healy have a day off from work and school so they all decided to go to the beach (after much of Holly nagging her father to go w/ her fiends).
It’s a nice peaceful day they’re all lounging around tanning, building sand castles, reading just your casual beach activities until Holland wants to be a brat. Holland feels like he’s not getting enough attention from Healy so he decides to go walk around and flirt with the life guard and anybody else he can find in the vicinity of the tide. After a couple minutes of Holland’s shenanigans Jackson finally starts paying attention to what he’s doing but just watching from under the umbrella a safe distance away. Jackson then realizes Holland is going deeper into the water to go flirt with another person much to his dismay but one blink & one wave later Holland never came back up for air. After a few painful seconds of silence and no laugh from him he then realized Holland isn’t coming back up for air on his own. Panic starts to rise in Jackson’s chest & the next thing he knows is that he’s running to the water to find Holland.
“You gotta be fucking kidding me”
Is all Healy can say as he’s pumped full of adrenaline and panic not seeing his loud mouthed and obnoxious partners face. Holly now noticing all the commotion around Healy running towards the water and not seeing her dad has her panicking in return because she can’t afford to lose another parent.
Healy is finally able to see Holland’s body floating right where the waves crash and thankfully he was face up, he picks up Holland bridal style to run to the shore to start immediately performing CPR as he definitely had water in his lungs.
“Come on March we can’t be doing this right now!!!” Is all Jackson can say trying to hide is panic as Holly is now coming closer to the scene. The minute Holly gets there though she is crouched beside her dad crying because the mere thought of losing her father as much as she says he’s the “worst person ever or something” is absolutely earth shattering.
“Dad?! Dad!! Da-“ is all she’s able to get out before choking on tears. Holly is March’s saving grace, the panic in her voice is what brought him back to consciousness because deep down he knows he can’t leave her or Healy just yet. After a few seconds he is able to start throwing up all the water he consumed after going under.
“WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM MAN?! WHY THE HELL DID YOU DO THAT?!?!?!” Is the first thing he fully computes after gaining full consciousness and he’s happy it’s Jackson holding his head up even if he’s being screamed at.
“Thought I’d give you a run for your money. I needed my prince eric to come and save me.” Is all Holland can chuckle out weakly.
“You’re seriously making a My Little Mermaid joke at this time?!? For god sakes man you made your daughter cry!!”
March then realizes he wasn’t hallucinating Holly calling out for him and that she was right there next to him looking mortified, relieved & angry at the same time. As he goes to try and apologize he feels arms wrap around him as Holly needed to feel her father’s chest go up and down just to make sure he’s breathing alright.
“YOU’RE NEVER GOING SWIMMING AGAIN!!!” Is all she can get out but he has to agree he’s never going swimming again even if it’s just for attention as he hates to admit it.
“You can say that again” Holland hears with a hint of relief and amusement from the other side of him. Holland almost tears up knowing how loved he is & how stupid he can be but he wouldn’t trade the world for it.
Blah blah blah something something happy ending March & Healy send Holly to a friends house at the end of the beach day they make love soft and sweet something idk how to end this shit ☠️
