I'm only here because Xeno made an account recently, and someone has to stop him from getting bullied online. The man speaks in paragraphs, uses words nobody's touched in two centuries, and expects everyone else to keep up.

So now I have an account too.

As part of the agreement for my revival, I'm not allowed to shoot people anymore.

Fortunately though, military training teaches you a lot of useful skills besides marksmanship.

Or so I've been told.

I created this blog because I haven't seen any accounts for my favorite Dr. Stone character yet.

I'd like to think I know Stanley pretty well, so I decided to roleplay him here.

In October 5755, I established the world's first cigarette brand alongside Xeno.

This occurred approximately one year after my return from the moon, and served as compensation for the fact that I spent five years petrified while he got to play with rockets.

Xeno objected, repeatedly, to the idea of commercializing nicotine, sspending most of the process reminding me that encouraging people to inhale toxic compounds was irresponsible.

Fortunately, his moral objections never outweighed his inability to resist a scientific challenge.

So yes, he lectured me throughout the entire project.

No, it wasn't that deep.

Do you support women's rights and women's wrongs? Or just women's rights?

I support women’s rights—by which I mean both the principle of equal human rights and the expectation of basic decency in how people act.

But much like men's wrongs, women's wrongs are an observable phenomenon rather than a policy position. I do not believe equality requires pretending half the population is incapable of making poor decisions.

The sole exception of this is when those 'wrongs' serve as an act of resistance to policies infringing upon the rights, safety, or autonomy of women.

hey so lets say hypothetically you were given the chance to have an ak47 along with unlimited tobacco but the condition was to not talk to xeno for 2 weeks

Truth be told, spending two weeks without talking to anyone ain't exactly a new experience. I've spent longer than that on deployment.

Depending on the assignment, outside communication can be limited, delayed, or restricted entirely. Sometimes the only messages you're sending are mission-related.

Besides, Xeno and I have spent a good chunk of our adult lives in different states, different countries even.

We've managed.

However, if the Stone World has taught me anything, it's that Xeno tends to get what he wants, and what I want, eventually.

Which means I'd probably end up with the rifle and the unlimited tobacco anyways if I was stuck with him.

So I suppose not.

I'd pick the option that gets me all three rather than just two.

Although he seemed perfectly fine going five years without me.

So maybe I should see how he handles two weeks.

That’s what I said.

Xeno's aware cigarettes aren’t the worst possible outcome.

He’s just decided I shouldn’t have any outcome he didn’t approve of.

Which is basically everything I do.

He lectures me.

I ignore it.

Nothing changes.

Yeah, third thing we made, actually.

Right after Xeno got lucky and found platinum—ring Carlos spit out was made from it—we headed over toward Sacramento for corn.

Funny how Xeno gets a fancy scientific tool waiting for him when he wakes up, but me hoping for a pack of cigarettes is apparently unreasonable.

His first priority was building some ammonia factory with a name so long and complicated only he cared enough to remember it.

Course, the upside was ammonia.

Which meant guns.

Revolvers, machine guns, rifles—whatever idea he had rattling around in that oversized head of his.

Meanwhile, I was going through nicotine withdrawal.

You ever chew on random grass just to keep your mouth occupied?

Wouldn’t recommend it.

Anyhow, I was testing one of the revolvers when I spotted tobacco plants out of the corner of my eye.

Xeno followed my line of sight, and immediately knew what I’d seen.

Turns out he’d known they were there the whole time.

Should’ve expected that.

Ever since I started smoking, he’s made it his personal mission to get me to quit.

Apparently tobacco’s native to the area.

I would’ve helped myself to it right then, but tobacco isn’t cigarettes.

Still had to dry it, cut it, wrap it in paper.

So I spent the next few days reminding Xeno I was the one testing his weapons, and it would be a real shame if I lost interest.

Amazing how fast scientific progress happens when properly motivated.

So now I’ve got cigarettes.

And Xeno’s got a new hobby.

Every time I light one, he explains exactly what it’s doing to my lungs.

Cancer.

Asthma.

Reduced lung function.

At this point I’m pretty sure he only recreated tobacco so he’d have more opportunities to lecture me.

Most people dream about going to space.

I did it because my boss asked.

Like I would willingly be stuck in a capsule with a bunch of kids for a week.

I don’t know why Senku thinks Xeno and I are coddling him—I was just following orders.

Precocious brat.

Kohaku’s a bit volatile at times, but her eyesight’s useful.

And Ryusui decided to hitch a ride on Module 4, and turn himself into a human gyro-whatever.

Third time these kids have managed to shock me, honestly.

I should probably stop counting.

If it wasn’t for the chewing tobacco Xeno made me bring, I’d be questioning every life decision that led here. I still am, actually.
