Rek’Sai loves playing with Lux’s hair. Sometimes she uses her mandibles to comb it, sometimes she plays with the ends with a single claw. Its just so soft to the touch and fun to play with. It helps that she never seems to mind.

Rek’Sai once brought Lux a book. It was intended to be a gift but to her surprise Lux started reading it to her. Rek’Sai never really saw the appeal of books until that moment. So now whenever Rek’Sai is around Lux will read a bit to her before she goes to bed. So far they have gone through 10 novels together.

Rek’Sai loves getting into games of ‘tag’ with Warwick. He is fast, almost as fast as she is, so the game is always a high speed chase tendering on who turn just slow enough to get tagged by  the other.

Rek’Sai and Warwick often sing with one another. A sharp howl followed by a deeper more baritone bay, the two trading notes and change octaves so that their songs gains more dept and form. Humans who have been treated to their singing have often called it terrifyingly beautiful.

Rek’Sai will sometimes chew on the sword Janna carry and hid it deep in the ground. She is aware of its sentienceand knows of its dislike of  her and other voidling. Normally she will ignore it but when it hums a particular way...she knows its being rude. So she punishes it. Like the child it is.

Whenever Janna hovers a bit to high in the sky Rek’Sai will launch herself up into the air just and lightly brush a claws against her feet. The first time Rek’Sai ever did this practically scared the life out of Janna. It was funny.

Rek’Sai adores sand surfing with Pit. Its fun as hell and often times they even race one another. Sometimes she even convinces Pit so let her drag him along the sand to do said surfing.

Pit is one of the few people Rek’Sai will turn into her human form for on a regular bases. She simply prefers her own form over a false one. Pit knows this so whenever he asks her to change it is typically because he has something fun planned for them.

Ah, Rek'Sai. You're looking well. I trust Shurima is bountiful in it's human food supply.

Rek’Sai clicks twice in affirmative a pleased purr rumbling in her chest briefly as she remembers the scale of her last meal.

Purrs and nuzzles her void sister. Softly chattering back with muted excitement.

Pit smiles as he gently hugs his void friend/waifu. As he also gets in close and.. Smooches? her.. Well he does put his lips on her. Though it's still unknown if that's a kiss or not. Though she got a nice smooch from rock boy.

Leaning her head into Pit’s side Rek’Sai chirped, her mandibles clicking together lazily at the faint feeling of lips pressing against the crown of her head. Purring softly she worms her head into the crook of Pit’s neck and coos, enjoying the warmth of his skin and the soft sound of his breathing. Her human friend smelled especially of earth today.

//Ohhh <3 You guys, thanks for this gift. I get to write Rek’Sai kisses. @xersai-queen Fun Fact: Rek was my second favorite jungler back when I jungled! 

Lux has grown steadily more and more used to voidlings, including those as large and aggressive as Rek’Sai. Not that the Xersai queen is aggressive with her. If anything she is very sweet, very calm, always butting her face against Lux and nearly knocking her over. It’s a hazard of the job Lux supposes. Most void creatures were much larger than her, or at least much stronger. There had been some awful run ins before, but Rek had always been a decidedly pleasant voidling and Lux thoroughly enjoyed her company. 

Even if much of it was her grinning brightly and playing games with her magic. Rek was very fast, and very adept at following things without sight. It was always interesting to watch her catch one of Lux’s little balls of light in her mouth without having ever saw it. Something about the vibrations of magic allowed the other to feel it. 

“Hey Rek.” Lux’s tone was bright, warm, as she hugged the head that was pressed into her chest. It knocked the breath out of her but she didn’t care, and chose to pepper the top of the voidling’s head with kisses instead. Now if she could just figure out where Riven had gone off to.
