That is exactly why I don’t trust Pheem to be telling the truth (for the right reasons) here. Its guilt and manipulation all rolled into one deceiving ball that all crumbles because in that moment where Than can’t see his facial expressions, Pheem blinks.

He cannot hold it together because yeah, its true that he has been waiting for Than the whole time, and that he does want him by his side. But he’s telling Than all this right now because he still needs him here. Pheem still needs to use Than, and thats why he uses Than’s obvious sense of duty against him in such an emotional way.

Anyway, i love what Offroad is doing with this character and I, for one, cannot wait to see where this all leads. I’m really excited for a BL to finally lean into a morally corrupt protagonist. Like yes please, make me root for bad guy Pheem.
