ending is open for anyone to add to. i attempted to come at this from like.. an outsiders view? like someone describing the livestream on some 'scary true stories' channel and the mysterious things surrounding it.
The Media has always been aware of Soukoku. The duo was essentially pasted over forums after being first spotted a decent few years ago. So it was also a race within the reporting community to be the first to get an interview. (Only one ever got close enough back then, though, earning a 'Fuck off' from the shorter of the two. It made headlines for a while afterwards, only to rarely surface in the present.)
Now, there's two of them, and they're not entirely Mafia this time around, too! (Despite the.. Often collaborations. .. Which is.. a surprise. Given one is the Mafia, and the other is the mythed ADA.) Some massive Yokohama-shattering event occurred, once again, and the quartet was found leaving the scene, a bloodied mess, though that’s to be expected.
One brave reporter and their cameraman rush forward, the live footage, connected to some online streaming service, shakily focusing on them, as they attempt to ask their first question, only for the brunet, Dazai(?), the public is still unsure of whether or not that's his name, to grab the microphone and take over the feed. (In which, he asks the audience if any of them, fit two qualifications; being a beautiful woman, and willing for a double suicide.)
The footage goes down for a bit, only to return once the Reporter has their microphone back themselves to ask their first question, directed towards the newer duo. ["How do you feel about the shadow of this duo that hangs over you?"]
Atsushi mutters through his answer, his eyes focused on the camera, and only bits and pieces were picked up by the mic, something about how he’s not really in their shadow, as Akutagawa simply glances at Dazai twice for.. Guidance? Before he simply blankly stares at the reporter. (As Dazai stops Rashomon from attacking the camera.)
Chuuya, who'd barely managed to sneak out of frame of the camera, is dragged back into frame by a firm hand on his wrist. (He'd been chastised once for his comment to the Media by Kouyou, and he wasn’t about to have that happen again. .. And having eyes on the Mafia through whatever outlet this reporter is not something he intends to deal with.)
While the camera's focused on the first generation of Soukoku, Akutagawa has pierced Rashomon through Atsushi's arm for even attempting to placate the media. Causing the other to retaliate and swipe at the next Rashomon tentacle. Which, incidentally, hits the camera while it deflects his claws. (It most certainly was an accident. And nothing more. Nope.)
With the loss of live footage, the stream switches to audio-only, before shutting off entirely, as Dazai takes the mic once more, asking the audience to think through his offer, his voice it's usual tone when he's in public and playing.. that side of his persona, before he presumably passes the mic to one of the others and it disconnects much like the camera had.
The next day, the service that hosted the stream is no where to be found, alongside all clips of it across the internet to be deleted, too. (Including private ones, too.) It was as if it never occurred to the public. .. Outside of one copy, in the hands of a very cunning detective.
