I had an hour and a half phone call with my dad that felt honestly healing. I am so fortunate to have a good relationship with my dad, he and I are very similar people and I do really look up to him. We don't talk frequently but when we do it always surprises me how long we can keep at it. He and I are both Going Through It right now and we both agreed that this call was very much needed. Really looking forward to when he's retired soon and I have this house sorted out and I can have him over for a beer and a board game or something
