The sunken depression

Its days like those that I had on the weekend. The moment I lost one of my best friends. Imprisoned in his own body screaming for help on the inside but sitting quietly on the outside. I didnt notice it. His family didnt notice it. I cried and i felt shame that i didnt notice something was wrong. It was 2am and i was still lying in bed thoughts running through my head and exams for the next week once i had woken up. My friend was so troubled he was wanting to be caught. Finally he was found. Someone had heard his cries and now he was in a safer place for everyone. To you my friend i hope you get the help you need and manage to find your way back on a new path. Until we meet again.

Generous commuter

I spend 2.5 hours ever day going to and from work on the train or bus. In all this time today i got on the most amazing train. I have always been one to offer my seat to those who need it more and its always sickened me when people turn a blind eye to those that need it more - no matter what the reason may be. Today i stepped foot on a train that left me with the biggest smile on my face to the point people we're getting suss over. A pat on the back to all those in my section that offered their seat for those in need! Never have I seen so much compassion and willingness to look up from you phone, ipad, book or e-reader and take a look around to see if you could help anyone and assist them. Today in my one hour trip i witnessed this 8 times... which is 8 more times then what ive ever seen in one trip and 4 more times then what ive seen since January 2015!
