hondo-mage:
“Yeah, but time will pass and new heroes will replace him.” he said dryly, “I respect what he’s done and wouldn’t mind meeting him…but it’s not like anyone in America or Japan or Kenya hasn’t been heroic or stopped problems.” he waved his hand nonchalantly. Hondo didn’t mean any disrespect but he was sick of everyone stuck of the the Golden Era, a time of Voldemort or what happened in Europe. Many other magical communities had their problems and conqured them… None the less he looked back at her, “I want to be a Witch-Hunter.” he said proudly, “It much like an Auror or Hit Wizard I guess….They are part of our magical military in South Africa and some parts in the north. It’s always been a dream of mine and why I focused in martial magic.” he explained but then felt his cheeks blush, “Thank you. That’s kind to say but I also don’t believe you don’t care much. Everyone cares to an extent, but I think it’s nice you are so care-free though…”
“I don’t even mean any of the stuff he did consciously, and that was a lot.” She shrugged. “Mister survived an unforgivable curse being a baby. Who else has done that? Circumstantial, maybe, but people make a fuzz out of it. Not me though, but some people do.” Alba truly only ever memorized stuff for tests, then forgot all about it unless it seemed interesting enough. This guy was truly honorable, wasn’t he? She almost wanted to laugh about it. Not because she thought it was dumb because that was truly not the case, but she thought people like this only ever existed in movies. “Sounds like a good plan then.” Alba nodded, telling him what he probably wanted to hear. “Oh, you don’t believe it?” She turned to look at him, shaking her head along with her question as if to emphasize it. “Well, that’s up to you, I suppose. If you uh... happen to want to feel carefree, I know a way.”
