Today I’m is thinking about how aggravating it is to see “wlw” be a replacement for the word “lesbian.”

About a week ago a person came up to me at pride, complimented my outfit and asked (in full seriousness) “are you wuh-luh-wuh?” I’m wearing an outfit with the lesbian flag colors, my makeup has the lesbian flag painted over my eyes, and I have (one of) my lesbian flags tied around my waist. And it just felt, idk, odd? Like no, I’m not ‘wuh-luh-wuh’ I’m a lesbian. Censoring your language in a real life setting, especially one where we’re at a PRIDE event is strange to me.

Every vampire is all "oh drinking blood is better than any food, drugs, even sex" but I don't even believe them because all of them were literally made before the invention of really good drugs and before we got all the nice foods from the new world, so I don't trust any of their opinions. Lestat has never ate a potato and Armand hasn't ever even tasted tomaotes. The only guy I trust is Daniel Molloy who has probably tried every drug on earth, has definitely ate nice food and would be a valid judge on how good drinking blood really is.

Heated Rivalry is great, story is fantastic, subplots are great, but it made me so insanely angry whenever I was watching it with my girlfriend.

Was really interested going into this movie because as someone who isn’t very up to speed on any backrooms lore besides the og post I like the backrooms best when there are no monsters, but the environment itself makes you feel unsafe. You’re paranoid and panicking but then you get out and realize that there was nothing to be afraid of, nothing was even there to chase you in the first place it was just your mind tricking itself.

So I think it’s so interesting that this movie did both- there is a monster but it’s You. It’s a monster you made up it’s a physical manifestation of your fear. It hurts people because you hurt people. You’re unsafe because you created the environment and that means your fear is out to get you.
