A robust cumin kick adds flavor to this stir-fry of tender lamb slices. This dish is flavorful and filling because of the blend of veggies and spices.
Ingredients: 1 lb lamb, thinly sliced. 2 tablespoons vegetable oil. 1 onion, sliced. 3 cloves garlic, minced. 1 tablespoon ginger, minced. 1 red bell pepper, sliced. 1 green bell pepper, sliced. 2 teaspoons ground cumin. 1 teaspoon chili flakes adjust to taste. 2 tablespoons soy sauce. 1 tablespoon oyster sauce. 1 teaspoon sugar. Salt and pepper to taste. Fresh cilantro for garnish.
Instructions: Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat. Add the sliced lamb and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until browned. Remove the lamb from the pan and set aside. In the same pan, add the remaining tablespoon of oil. Add the minced garlic and ginger, and stir-fry for 30 seconds until fragrant. Add the sliced onion and bell peppers, and stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes until they begin to soften. Return the cooked lamb to the pan and add ground cumin and chili flakes. Stir-fry for another 2 minutes. Pour in soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sugar. Stir well to combine all the ingredients. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until everything is heated through and well coated with the sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve hot.
