Another less deluded take is that fighting with these guys is the only thing that makes him feel alive, this weirdo. Quincy won't fight him anymore and he can't fight Rei in front of Garu. Blade on an arena where everything goes? Perfect for the fox. There's probably no one else who wants to see his own guts and blood flying more than Kuya himself, probably, if it'll make his life even remotely more interesting.

No actually you might be onto something. Consider how the old Kuya was crazy violent, you still see remnants of that in the way current Kuya acts. It feels more like he just got tired of inflicting one sided violence than that he actually matured. He probably does crave violence and fighting but not just that. He wants to hit and be hit in return, a little bit of pain to make him feel alive.

Anyway I want to draw garukaru in heat...I like situations where characters get forced into confronting something, and the fallout after. I really like heats and ruts bc of that, like you can't ignore it u gotta handle this Right here Right now. Are you just gonna let him fucking die (or be in pain for a long time) rei?? Huh?? Lmao. He can justify it to himself later. Or when those situations let a character have something they keep denying themselves, especially if they deny it after lol, it was Necessary, it was a Lapse in. judgement, anything I can think of to excuse it to continue running away from myself, but it's so much harder now that I know what it was like, just for a moment. It's good.

A heat taking place before garukaru and rei are involved....the heat amplifying their feelings since theyve been longing like a puppy dog after rei for months. Sure they could get help (even karu if he was desperate enough) from eiden, or even blade or yakumo maybe Quincy if they could make it out to the forest, olivine if he was around....but they want their big bro!!! Really bad!! Garu hiding away in his room but sneaking out at night to steal Rei's clothes, building a nest out of them hidden under his covers, karu uses it to but he didn't get them so like, he's not weird ok Garu did it, it's just if they're there anyway...

Waking up even earlier than yakumo with a clearer head to go wash the clothes and put them back lol. But he cant help but keep one or two for himself...he'll give them back after he promises!!
