Drowning in my thoughts

words so hard  to speak

lost  in all this sorrow

can’t even think of a melody

to uplift my heavy soul

but this mind can be such a burden

because there are so many thoughts to carry

just when I think they leave,

they’re back to torture me.

Alone in my vessel of communication

what’s the point when I can’t feel alive?

Sober and hindered by all my imperfections

at times I think I am better,

but how can I keep good thoughts

when no one ever reaches towards me?

Am I even alive? I can’t feel much at all.

Why am I tired? I have done nothing at all.

I fade into nothingness,

but I grasp to my spirit,

try to raise it out of that hell.

I am strong inside, even if I cry.

Because I am alive, I need to feel alive.

I’ve been waiting for much too long.

I need to feel, before I’m gone.

Lost In the Mist

All of my, enduring sanity

will never make it if I just give in.

Why then must, every waking day

always begin just to come to an end?

Hold it in, don’t let them use your sins,

or else you’ll bow to their every whim.

Look inside, don’t run away and hide

you must complete yourself from deep within.
