Song of the month:Ā The BoysĀ ā Girlsā Generation
This month was⦠interesting. Iāve been really lazy in almost every other aspect of my life, but somehow IĀ stillĀ stayed consistent with the challenge, and Iām honestly really proud of myself for that.
⢠4 books read (1 book a week āļø) ⢠31 movies watched (movie a day āļø)
The movies were honestly easy. One to two hours a day didnāt feel like a big deal. The reading, though? That was hard. Not because the books werenāt interesting, but because Iām genuinely addicted to my phone. Not picking it up. Not opening TikTok. Sitting with a book instead. That part was a struggle. But I made it to the end of the month anyway.
Iāve noticed my speech has definitely gotten better. I can actually hear the difference in how I talk now. My communication feels clearer, and I donāt stumble over my words as much, which feels like a huge win.
Things I struggled with: Ordering food way too much and wasting money, barely getting out of bed, and my room being an absolute mess. January kind of became ādo the challenge and nothing else.ā
I also havenāt been taking my ADHD meds at all, which has definitely affected me. I took it on January 31st andĀ oh my god.Ā It felt like I forgot how to be myself and then suddenly remembered. Like the fog lifted. February, Iām going to take it way more consistently.
Sleep is another issue. I havenāt been sleeping at all. Iāll lay in bed doing nothing, then be exhausted the next day, but still not able to sleep at night. I think my meds might actually help with this. Since theyāre extended release and wear off around 5pm, Iām usually tired by 10 and actually ready to sleep.
Goals for February: Stop rotting in bed and ordering food. Get active, clean my room, go out, and actuallyĀ doĀ things. January was all about proving I could stick to the challenge. February is about building a life around it.
If you have movie or book recs, keep sending them. Iām still adding everything to my list ā”
