hiatus

I hate to say this you guys, but I have to take a break from this blog... I love you all so much, and it’s been so much fun sharing the love for this amazing and under-appreciated character! Unfortunately I just have so much going on with my studies, and on top of that I’m kind of starting a campaign to address racism at my University, so I’m going to be really busy with that too... ahahaha... ah... I love you guys, I hope I’ll be able to come back soon <3

Bad. how a bunch of people like to pretend like coursers have no emotions/feelings and are just machines… Despite the fact that they’re literally just Gen 3s who were picked & trained so I guess by that logic Danse & other Gen 3s are also emotionless? (??? and have u spoken to x6, my bud ???)

It’s just? Why do a lot of people stop caring about synths’ rights when its about coursers (who literally only “act ~~emotionless” as an obvious defense mechanism)?

ive seen some people use cisswap as a term instead of genderbending. but im 90% sure im cis and so cant really say much on whether or not its cissexist (also ye i love me some lady x6 and think x6 would of made a badass lady character tbh)

yeah p sure cisswap is not a good thing tho... but at least it’s honest??

I actually like the term genderbend because it has “bend” in it, like it’s flexible. “swap” implies that there’s a binary, but with “bend” there’s more wiggle room. But genderbending has almost consistently been used to enforce the gender binary, so it’s kinda wasted potential, and I know other people have written a lot more about why it’s problematic to nonbinary, trans*, and intersex folk. I’m not really sure what the protocol is on it now, and I don’t want to offend anyone...

but yeah, I’m honestly just thirsty af for more badass women of color in the game. I think Glory is the only named woc? And I love her but she doesn’t get much screentime. Fem!X6 gets me hot n bothered. MascFem!X6 gets me bad, idk if thats even a thing but w/e im a mess take me away
