Still trying to play around with Asmonds’ name. I believe to follow an Abrahamic naming system works better, Asmond may be his chosen name, while Magenel is his. This looks so much darker on my iPad.

The ORIGINAL original character designs of the cast of Scooby-Doo, Where Are You? by character designer Iwao Takamoto.

Let’s put that in perspective.

These sketches, made around 1966 or 1967, look fresher and more animated than a lot modern day cartoons. It’s a stark difference, not to mention way less stiff, than what audiences eventually saw on the show.

Iwao Takamoto is a legend in animation for a reason, kids.

I have completed it. Bell Bottomed, and I guess Cel’d a bit. Did not like the Fedora or Jacket. Tried DPPt kinda. Fumbled largely with the arms.

I had wanted to give a try of my own design of Grendels’ Mother from the Beowulf Poem. I had finished this off with the Jaw, though I do plan on continuing this later, as it is a sketch. I initially wanted to try to water colour Walking Wake and draw him to look like a 90’s Sugimori artwork more, but got carried away with detailing. Was fun to draw though, I did not like drawing his Handle Bars though.

I gave her a different outfit. This was semi because I wanted to practice a collarbone, and shading. Maybe I should have given her holding her usual shirt, like this is a before the final transport.
