breakfast in bed; Seungcheol
Since you had the day off from class today you decided to have a lazy day. The bed was still warm when you woke up, but empty and a mess of tangled sheets and pillows. Frowning you thought you'd woken up late mistakenly and missed waving Seungcheol off to work. But the door opened and he walked in with a tray with breakfast and two mugs; tea for you, coffee for him. Still dressed in the sweatpants and t-shirt he had been in the night before he smiled at seeing you still half asleep propped up on one elbow watching him.
"Morning," he smiled carefully setting the tray on the bed next to you before climbing back onto the mattress and balancing it on his lap.
"Mm morning is that for me?" you reply eyes on the mug of tea, steam floating dreamily out from it .
"Breakfast for you too," he laughed, handing over the mug.
"I'm spoiled," you teased accepting it gratefully and giving it a little sip.
"Breakfast in bed. Isn't that what girls like?"
"Since you made it for me? Yes."
"I figured we could eat breakfast together for once. Our schedules never seem to match properly."
"Right don't you have to get ready?"
"I will after we eat. Don't worry we have plenty of time," he assured you.
You rearranged yourself, sitting up and leaning against him with your mug of tea allowing him to goofily feed you French toast, which he proudly boasted that he made himself. Surprisingly it isn't bad at all.
When you voiced these thoughts he laughed sheepishly and admitted, "It took a few tries. I burned the first two before I got the hang of it."
After breakfast you found yourself stretching out across the bed finishing up your tea and watching as he wiggled into a pair of dark jeans and a fresh white t-shirt.
"Can't believe you can't stay home on my one day off." you frowned at him over the rim of your mug, not bothering to hide the disgruntled look on your face. But Seungcheol's job schedules didn't revolve around yours...sadly enough.
His expression scrunched up forming a pout as he replied, "Sorry. I wish I could. Don't make that face at me please. Or I won't be able to concentrate today."
He crossed the room and kissed the side of your head when you lowered your face so he couldn't see that you were still making the same face.
"I'll try and get back as soon as possible. Then I'm all yours for the night okay?" he promised before wandering into the bathroom to brush his teeth and fix his hair.
Annoyed, but not annoyed enough to sit there pouting like a petulant child, you got up and grabbed the remote, flipping on the TV while popping Romeo and Juliet into the Blu-Ray player. As it loaded you wandered to the kitchen to make yourself another mug of tea. If you were going to sit around and do nothing all day you might as well do it with another mug of tea. On your way back from the kitchen you picked up your laptop so you could surf while you watched. You could hear the water running, but also Seungcheol talking. It wasn't unusual for that since he more often than not had to remind the other members of the day's schedule. Ignoring it you settled on your bed, smiling when you caught sight of snow fluttering passed the big glass windows next to you
Lying on your stomach and typing in the password for your computer you picked up the remote with your free hand and lifted your eyes to the TV. Relaxing. This was going to be a good day even if you had to wait for him to come home before you guys could spend time together.
The bathroom door opened, temporarily distracting you from what you were doing. Seungcheol took one step then ran the rest of way and dove on to the bed next to you causing everything including you fly up off the bed and tumble back into a heaped mess.
"Oi!" You laughed as he caged beneath him, grinning widely down at you, "Shouldn't you be getting ready to go?"
"Nope! They cancelled the schedule last minute." He grinned, "I'm free for the whole day. They said because of the snow they couldn't do the outdoor event."
"Really? So you're going to stay?" you asked excitedly, pushing lightly on his chest so he'd let you up. He nodded as you combed your fingers through your hair trying to fix it clumsily.
"Goodie then you can watch with me." you replied, grabbing the remote and hitting play.
"What are we watch-" he cut himself off with a groan, "Again? We watched this two days ago."
