Yesterday was the last day of instruction for winter quarter!! strangely I feel that my third year has been mimicking my first year …but I hope I’m handling it better this year :/

I’m in the library with my roommates cramming microbio, I decided not to study biochem until Thursday (the final is on Friday) because I only need a 67 on the final for an A…meanwhile in microbio I need like 112% for an A no joke

aNYWAYS yesterday to celebrate (also to celebrate studybuddy finishing his lab practical) we went to tsujita ramen in Sawtelle (and it was SO good) and for dinner we baked a “salmon wellington” and I gotta say that was the peak of my college culinary career

we also did face masks my skin feels supple and beautiful 🤩

tbh I love the positive vibe that the studyblr community gives in the way that it has motivated students as young as middle school to get their lives together (or at least try to) and college students to try and survive adulthood like it’s just honestly so beautiful how a single community could have the power to do all of these things and promote such indelible changes into all of our lives to make us feel a little less lost.

6 March 2019 | Koine exam tomorrow, so today was spent studying with my favorite person and treating ourselves to donuts. A sweet man who was in town for business saw my notes and asked, “Koine or Attic?” and we ended up having a wonderful conversation about the joys of ancient languages and educational models—so fun!
