For those who don’t know. MSG is just seaweed extract. It’s a racist campaign to make us scared of seaweed. And it makes food taste better. Some of y'all scared of tasty seaweed cause you believe racists.

All the people in the notes claiming to suffer from/have relatives with MSG allergies are utterly playing themselves because MSG allergies are a myth. Any sensitivity you think you have to MSG’s is coming from a different ingredient in the product, or is placebo.

You’re not likely to experience any sort of sensitivity to MSG in regular amounts that you would find in food.

It’s more likely that if you do experience sensitivities or allergies, it’s because of something else in the product.

MSG is quite literally as harmless to you as table salt. Stop being racists and start actually enjoying the food available to you.

MSG when used as a seasoning may be sourced from seaweed, but it’s naturally occurring in all kinds of food!! Any time tomatoes meet table salt, msg is made. There’s MSG in mushrooms!!

Even if you never eat foods with added MSG, you’re likely eating it just because it is a normal type of salt that naturally occurs in lots of food!

Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m gonna go eat some tomato soup in which msg has naturally formed because there’s tomatoes in it and salt. And I’m going to add some extra MSG because it brings out the flavor even more and it’s a nice lower sodium way to make things delicious!!
