I’ve been thinking about Perfectworld in X and Y and that’s what inspired me to draw this artwork that I call “Willful Ignorance.”

This piece is meant to symbolize Professor Sycamore’s willful ignorance to Lysandre’s true nature in Pokémon X and Y. The projection of Lysandre is to show how his contribution in helping to invent the Holo-Caster as well his other philanthropic endeavors “blinded” Professor Sycamore to the truth with Team Flare. Professor Sycamore’s horrified expression and the cracked background is to show his reaction to Lysandre’s true colors but only when it is far too late to do anything to stop him.
