In an alternate world where there are no demons, Huntr/x is just an everyday K-pop band.
In this universe,Rumi’s mom fell in love with a member of their rival K-pop band, The Taigeoseus (Tigers). Name chosen because of said members skin markings.
Celine is upset because she feels this is the greatest betrayal by her best friend/Sunset Sister.
Meanwhile Gwi-Ma and Rumi’s father are the lead singers in Taigeoseus.
After finding out about co-workers love interest, Gwi-Ma tries to snap him out of it, saying that their fame and fortune is far more important that some stupid girl! He worked too hard and stepped on too many people to get here!
Gwi-Ma is willing to do “Anything” to be famous.
But after a year, Rumi’s parents quit their respective bands, get married and have Rumi. Sadly one night, while their little star is staying with her maternal grandparents, there is a horrifying car wreck that takes both their lives in a snap.
To this day, some still suspect Celine or Gwi-Ma may have had a hand in it.
Despite everything between them, Celine was named godmother so she helped raise Rumi, also determined to make Rumi a star like her mother when she learns of Rumi’s love of singing.
Rumi has inherited not only her mother’s powerful voice but also the same skin markings her father had.
Celine, in hatred towards the man who stole her sister, makes Rumi hide her markings, making her feel inferior and ugly, making her hate the very thing that connects her to her father.
Celine is evil, don’t try to change my mind!
Anyway, fast forward to the present.
Huntr/x is still climbing the charts when a new band, The Saja boys, has come to dethrone the girls.
Jinu, the leader of the band, is the adopted son of their manager, Gwi-Ma!
The old leader of the Taigeoseus is back for BLOOD.
He wants to ruin both Celine and The Huntr/x like Rumi’s mum ruined him.
Now while Boddy treats his girls like his daughters,
Gwi-Ma treats his boys like soldiers, drilling them every second to be the best!
Each Saja boy has, besides Jinu, has a cute nickname but sadly they have a dark secret to its origins.
Mystery is the middle child of three sons. While his eldest brother was seen as the golden child, his youngest brother was seen as a sweet Can do no wrong angel while poor Mystery was often forgotten or ignored by his family even when he became a Saja boy
So he became reclusive and closed off, never letting anyone in. Except maybe his band mates.
(Fun Fact: He hides his eye’s because he has heterochromia)
Romance had always been teased by all the girls and boys around him growing up, because of his braces and bottle lens glasses. Always reading romance novels and manga. A hopeless romantic.
He would fall in love too easy whether it be boys OR girls, always confessing his feelings to anyone who caught his fancy.
(Fun Fact: Romance is a total grannies boy. He adores her and loves watching romance movies with her)
Abby had been overweight due mother’s insane need to keep him at home. It was all due to his father leaving his wife after losing a ton of weight, which said wife had helped with.
Abby was teased and bullied for years until he started losing weight in high school. He ended up being obsessed with staying fit.
He had even gone so far as to starve himself to near death until he met Romance, who made him feel beautiful again.
(Fun Fact: Abby has a weakness for cream filled pastries)
Baby was the only child of a rich couple who “babied” him all his life. Anything he wanted he would get.
Toys, games, electronics, expensive foods, even high brand clothes!
Sadly Baby never liked any of this.
He’d rather sit in his room and read his comics/books. He actually liked studying.
He preferred just listening to his rap music alone and at peace.
Sadly, his folks never stopped and it made him distrustful of others, except The Saja boys!
(Fun Fact: Baby is the biggest potty mouth of the group)
Jinu’s family had died when he was small, a small accident that no one saw coming and could do nothing about. Jinu had been out with friends when it happened and he still blames himself for their death even though it wasn’t his fault.
Gwi-Ma had been a “friend” of Jinu’s family and seeing no one wanted him, the poor orphaned boy was swept up into a world of becoming the greatest star in the world.
