This text is totally skippable This is just me rambling about silly personal stuff
First of all, I'm not going to tag this piece with anything other than warframe. This post is much more of a personal reflection than anything else- The second image attached is the final version of this illustration, but I want to highlight its sketch. It became something very special to me. I decided to post all of this as close as possible to how it was originally shared on Twitter (including this little commentary note) on a newly created account, simply because a few friends encouraged me to. It was meant to be a small, comfortable corner where I could post "just for myself," even though I had spent months in an art hiatus, unable to draw. This piece was my attempt to keep loving art despite feeling rusty. Finishing this illustration was difficult, but it became my way of thanking everyone who embraced that attempt, everyone who watched my art slowly become more consistent again. Being able to contribute, even in a small way, to the Warframe community has been a genuine joy. And, honestly, instead of judging me for only being able to give what I could at that moment, the community welcomed me. Along the way, it even brought me some incredible friendships. I have so much affection for this sketch, for these characters, for this work, and for the friends it brought into my life. For a long time, I truly believed I would "never draw again". Now, little by little, everything seems to be getting better, and that alone is already a huge step forward. It had been a long time since I last felt genuinely happy with my own art.
My final thought, the one that brings me peace these days is: it isn't about creating a masterpiece or competing with others. It's about not giving up on art. It's about a kind of kindness that accepts imperfections as part, and still recognizes them as worthy of love. - I love this silly little sketch. Don't give up.
