Rann is adorable talking to herself and the evil grin almost got me. uh oh she’s dreaming abt their future. i can’t get out of this moving bus aiming towards heartbreak central (i believe with all positive energy that they live).
don’t shoot the messenger but what if Rann dies and the red notebook/sketchbook she has is gifted to Lené and then she finally understands Rann’s perspective?? it’s sci-fi nothing is off limits
Rann is a realistic dreamer and I finally understand her a little more. She knows her second life was an opportunity so even if she doesn’t live in the end she made peace with it because her motivation is saving Lené at all costs. As a viewer I am attached and rooting for both to be alive so I’m the optimistic over here. Well the joke is on me
Strongest soldier goes to Lené. Rann strongly flirts with her, puppy face and all, and her composure remains intact, for the time being. Funny to see Peem making light of the situation
The silliness flirting from Rann is better than the cold shoulder from Lené repressing her feelings for Rann. Their game of cat and mouse is cutesy and embarrassing at the same time. Lené is a little mischievous for it and she thinks it’s cute
Yeah this is their foreplay. Talking shop and teasing each other at non-stop lengths. Lené teases Rann behind close doors while Rann teases her in their public spaces. They are the end of me
So their push and pull is playing out in this episode. The teasing and playful aggression is out of love and sexual tension and the acting is spectacular

Peem you are here for the entertainment of your boss being happy with her secretary (a little romantic at heart) and can’t agree more. Maybe Lené will finally take the advice. Finally placed it, they have siblings energy.
Huge tangent: Started watching JJK Season 3 and reminds me of Choso forgiving Yuji for killing their brothers because he didn’t know. Noting the siblings relationship is about forgiving and understanding and perhaps Lené would forgive Peem for his actions in the past life and maybe she wouldn’t but they are siblings by choice anyways
Dean is one step too close to being sucker punch by Lené right now. And grabbing Rann is the last straw
Yes it backfired and Lené is in the wrong for her assumptions and not listening to Rann’s explanation. Everything could’ve been avoided if Rann let Lené in on her plan way beforehand. Still Lené should not have insulted and disrespected Rann by calling her a slut
Rann knows her worth and is not willing to backdown from a challenge which makes her standing up to Lené satisfying to watch. There is no forgiving at the first attempt, it’s about making Lené question what she even said since it doesn’t seem to register to the implications of even saying those words to Rann
Dean is on Lené’s side?? So him at the funeral was trying to save face for Lené’s reputation. I’ll have a soft spot for them in hindsight and when the mystery is revealed. Dean and Peem are the misunderstood characters (here’s hoping). So Lené has two brothers after all

the hug was everything and Rann ready to take a bullet for Lené >> she’s dedicated in protecting Lené even if it means she would die. except I don’t think it’s working out. they rather die for one another but they can’t live without the other person. it’s a stalemate
communication and at what cost?? Rann cried again and in turn she made me cried again. The plot isn’t profound it’s about Lené not wanting to let Rann in, someone she adores and loves, while Rann chooses every possibility to save and be near Lené because she loves her and rather try to help even if it’s doomed for her. That’s the plot no other backstory about anyone else except the circumstances threatening them to be together. Even if Peem is on Lené’s side in the past life he didn’t do enough to prevent her death and Rann would rather die before seeing Lené die first. Which isn’t better but she’s trying really hard

Okay Lené is a service top (and sadistic… I couldn’t prove she liked seeing Rann crying) or at least likes to feel wanted. It’s endearing. New shoes might change the timeline (reading into it too much).
Lené’s smile alone made me less mad at her when Rann said she would be Lené’s person. It won’t kill you to admit you like Rann (…) and want to be official with her, just saying 🤷

Enemies with Benefits is maybe the greatest show of all time?? I have just been transfixed from the start with Jan and Jingjing’s chemistry and the effective emotional slow burn. Every time something is about to happen that plays into a trope they immediately subvert that. The healthy communication, joy, and safety that Lal and Wine have with each other makes me genuinely emotional. This is already in my top 3 Thai GLs and is going to be an immediate rewatch. I just finished episode 7 and I can’t stop thinking about the way these characters are mature and support each other.
To anyone that isn’t watching, get on it ASAP! You will laugh, cry, scream, and be utterly charmed.
They sleep on opposite sides, Rann on the right and Lené on the left, and both reach for each other. okay I can rest happy now
They were in-sync and their movements were parallel. I like the draw they have towards one another

I don't know Thai so I can't confirm this but it seems like the issue with the whole "they are not and have never been actually Enemies" is more an issue of localization than anything else.
Because the original name of the show looks like it is "Lal doesn't like Wine" instead of "Enemies with Benefits".
And if that one is actually the real name the structure of the show makes more sense to be called something along the lines of Enemies.
Not that it doesn't work if it is actually called enemies; is just that it fits way better with the one one.

so Lené just whined about Rann calling her so formally (and we’re sweeping that under the rug)
Rann is doing everything right! It’s funny to see the people around Lené take notice of Rann since she’s a good secretary,, even the housekeeper sees it

And Lené finally caved and asked Rann to call her more informally (the walls are melting slowly)
Also what changes made Lené go from less friendly to more closed off? Intrigued on how Lené becomes involved with being chased down and knowing how to use a gun
No Lené, I hope Rann gets everything she wants. All she wants is to protect you. Foresight not there but intentions are well
So the dad (Kanin?) is suspicious. We flash from Peem (the one guy we know is involved) and then another scene to someone that is implied to be involved. Also is there a chance Peem is a sibling to Lené if the dad is involved?? So the plot is to kill Lene so Peem can inherit the business? Far fetch thought but who knows
Okay unsure if the translation is direct, just funny how Lene said she won’t roll over and let Rann move in without a challenge. Except the whole episode Lené lets Rann be the boss of her even with her high attitude reputation
So Lené is a stubborn self sacrificing idiot while Rann is a determined self sacrificing idiot both are the same if you look at it from the other’s point of view
And Rann trying to save Lené is both a suicide mission and an act of love i can’t decide if im rooting for it or if my heart will break in tiny pieces
Rann would burn the world down for Lené and Lené rather sacrifice herself to the world to save Rann except Lené’s sacrifice didn’t work and Rann is back to save her instead
Also Lené let Rann love and save you. I beg of you! this is the better choice except the tension wouldn’t be good for later plot
Am I rooting for a love against all odds story or love can’t save us all but it can move us??

the previous thought hurt more bc Rann has been grieving all her life and the one lifeline she received after her Grandma’s passing also leaves her after receiving Lené’s note. call my support system and therapist bc i would be in the deepest hole of my life
This is why Rann is a strong willed character. In the midst of her grief, she loves Lené more than anything and would want to go back and be by her side. It is still part of being in denial but we see her determination to change things
Watching them fall in love first?? Lené is such a tease and Rann doesn’t give in. Their dynamic works well because there is a push and pull setting them up for later
