Yall, you know what is better than sex?

Tw: SA
Shall my bones be broken by
The hands that touch seeking
Pleasure that will never come
I vomit the memories of those hands
Without forgetting the scene afterwards
I was frozen in a body
A body screaming for attention as
It was unable to move
Unable to speak words
Only once the pain stops
Does the puke explain the words I couldn't
Express
I was frozen and in pain
While you wanted one last piece of control
Before killing the person within
Throwing out the body afterwards
Crazy is all that I will ever be known
"you're the stage manager. manage." / "you are his maker. make him."
your honour, i fear their combined sass could power up the national grid.
Lestat is a lover boy at heart, and that just makes him more tragic
crisp glass of water moodboard
Lestat wip. Been getting into iwtv lately. I wasn’t planning on adding any piercings but I wondered mid process how he’d look with them so I just added some I’d think would look cool on him!! (not a piercing expert so idk if these are placed correctly into his face anatomy…)
Oh no... HE'S HOT! (love the work)

“Was ninerose romantic?” “Would Rose stay with Twelve?” “Would Rose stay with 13?” “Would Rose have liked any of the classic incarnations?”
You guys really underestimate the power of love and daddy issues
Have I ever introduced my husband?
This is my husband. Frfr.
SPOILERS FOR INTEVIEW WITH THE VAMPIRE (i finished it)
So, why is there a third season? Like... I thought the second season was a good ending. Like you could end it there and I would be happy. You know, don't ruin this.
Alright so my thoughts on abuse. It was great that we had the reveal that Louis was wrong about a lot of things, and that both Lestat and Louis were toxic for each other, but they came together, said their last words and moved on. I think my interpretation of things can still be true, especially my comment on the one scene. But it could be just me coping with my own past. Whatever you say.
Claudia ended so tragically and quickly. I was not expecting that. I also felt that the bond between them was too quick for them to just end it. But again, Louis is the narrator and he didn't see it. Madeline (I think that is how you spell it) was really interesting to me, sad to see her go so quickly.
Armand was a really interesting character; I wanted to see more about him. Especially the way he loves people, it's interesting.
Why the fuck is Daniel Mollory a vampire?
I really enjoyed the show I am just really concerned about how it will go after this. Like Lestat is an interesting character, but it was Louis who made the story come alive. His narrative. So from the teaser trailer my friends showed to me (to convince me to watch the show, shoutout irl friends), was about Lestat becoming a rockstar and going on tour, and also apparently fucking his own mother and getting a lawyer for some reason against Louis. WHERE DID THE PLOT GO?
I am currently watching Interview with a Vampire. And I am on Season 2 Episode 2. I wanna talk about the abuse and abuser right real quick, as this has been hitting me really hard. The abuser being Lestat and the one getting the abuse is Louis.
Spoilers ahead.
Season 2, Episode 1 ending. That hit me hard. Staring at Claudia, looking at her and saying, "me and you", just you and me. While the hallucination of Lestat is sitting there. It hit me hard.
No matter how much you get away from your abuser. The abuse, the trauma, and the love you had for them will forever be there. And that showed it. Despite how much he is lying to himself saying that it will only be him and Claudia. Lestat is staying in his mind forever, which is how abuse works.
I also saw an edit to the beautiful words Lestat was telling Louis to let him turn him into a vampire in the pilot. The loving words, saying everything. Those words were true and real, the love that Lestat wants to give Louis is real, the love he has is real. But in the end, it's not good love, it's not healthy. The pretty words of an abuser wanting his prize. It works, everytime.
By the end of the season 2, episode 1... I started crying. Remembering my own abuse from multiple people, and especially ones where I was in love with that person. It hurts, and Lestat is Louis' devil. His abuser, the devil, Lestat.
I had just finished S2 E5, spoilers ahead.
First of all... WHAT THE FUCK?
So, that was extremely unexpected. And I still haven't gathered all my thoughts on the E5 reveal. But I wanna just finish it before finishing my thoughts on that.
However I do wanna talk about Claudia.
"He told me he loved me. Before, during, and after. Before. During. After."
I think I have talked about it before, but I am a victim of SA. And this really fucking hit me on a personal level. But, I also wanna talk about how this is a really good representation of the subject and how it affects the victim without going into the bad details or showing it on scene.
The "love" that is shoved down your throat. The fighting back without it doing anything for it to stop. And ofc, that quote. An act of love can easily turn into violence. This wasn't an act of love no matter how much he told her... before, during, and after.
As for the play. She is playing a child, the one thing she doesn't want to be seen as. Being in the body of a child while growing older and older is horrible. And she has to continue playing that role, way into her forties. Gosh, it is just... idk, horrible.
Anyway, I will try and finish it tonight.
As for my last post, it is both a romance and an abusive relationship. This is fantasy, but when you really read into it, it is still abuse and that scene was one of the things I thought of it as. It is just one of my readings into it. If you read it as a romance, I did to and that is great. That's all I have to say.
