For those wondering what's going on here...

It is a universe where Jonathan Kent and Billy Batson were married but sadly Billy was killed by an enemy. Jon falls into a deep depression until a new champion appears whose name is Ethan.

Jon reluctantly ends up becoming something of a tutor and mentor, gradually developing into a father-son relationship with Ethan.
