ok so i think this is adam’s final design, it may be tweaked a tiny bit more, but this is pretty much it.

second pic is just because i Could, and 3rd is a sneak peak at how beej and lydia end up meeting - i’m going to try my best to do a full comic(?), or at least something like this but a bit cleaner and in color

hey! i’m sorry i kinda just. dropped off the face of the earth. i’ve been dealing with A Lot and i’ve just needed to get my feet under me.

the character in the 3rd pic is gonna be one of the residents of this reboot’s neitherworld - theres a few of them, but i’ll scatter them in through my other posts.

i’m also gonna open my box for asks! i’ll try and draw responses, however i may not always be able to.

hey, so i feel like i need to kinda give an explanation as to why i really just. haven’t done anything besides miscellaneous doodles. and am relatively not active on most other forms of social media (for those of y’all that are in group chats n what not with me)

during the beginning of november, i recieved news that one of my old teammates/coaches committed suicide. his service (at least the one they held near the mountain) was yesterday. i also had a close friend end up in a hospital after an attempt a week or so later. they’re thankfully still alive, and are currently in a facility with the goal of improving and getting better.

in addition to this, my daily schedule has me leaving my house in the morning for school at 6:45, and not getting back until around 10 pm, due to sports and other activities, and that’s before i ever start my school work usually.

my motivation has been at an absolute low due to these reasons, and while the doodles are doable since i doodle A Lot during school, it’s been hard to try and get the final designs narrowed down and fully drawn.

i really hope y’all understand, and with thanksgiving break coming up in a few days, i’m hoping i’ll be able to de-stress and hopefully get my motivation back. i’ll continue to post doodles and whatnot throughout the week, and i’ll hopefully finish some pieces by the end of the break.

really small doodle of them since the vinyl comes out today! i’m super sorry i haven’t made any progress with much of anything - my schedule has me leaving for school 6:45 am, and not getting back until after 10 pm most days.

i’ll try over the weekends, but i’m also super busy with skiing since i need to start training for competition as soon as they open for the season. thank y’all for your patience - i’m really trying to get stuff finished!

oop more doodles, mostly stuff netherworld related. i also used my highlighters for the first time in a while and i tried not to go ham (i failed, as you can see in the last pic)

still working on adam, but i also gotta like. think about how the universe works so that’s Cool. also gotta come up with a final design for charles, delia, and ms. argentina.

anywho, small tidbit about how the netherworld works in this: beej literally cannot withold his demonic attributes while in the netherworld (hence the horns and tail) it’ll hopefully make for some interesting scenarios.

in the meantime, i’m just gonna work on this stuff whenever possible.

some random doodles from today - i’m going to be super busy in the upcoming week, i’m trying to get adam’s final design completely finished, but i just. haven’t been able to. i’m gonna start bringing my ipad to school to try and work on it when i’m not doing my sport, but it’s like. really old. so it doesn’t hold a charge for very long, and literally takes half the day to charge completely.

i’m gonna try and post little doodles like these though! i draw all over my work every day, so i should be able to at least upload some of the better ones every few days.

this version of lydia is obviously more punk than goth, but i’m still gonna keep the gothy teen that everyone loves!

progress on this is going to be slow - i have a bunch of other projects i’m working on right now, in addition to school and an upcoming winter job. however, i’m really hyped for how this is going.

concept doodles for the reboot! i’m currently working on digital art for official designs, but it’s slow going.

to be perfectly honest, i have no clue what i’m gonna do. i just. really wanted to make a reboot. so, here it is i guess.

the only thing i know for certain is that it’s gonna be beetlelands/goldenrat shipping at some point, and that personalities are gonna be just a bit different (but hopefully still on brand.)
