Until the End
Chapter 3: The lost tales in the history of revolution
“Are you planning to cut your hair out?” Dazai asks, noticing how Chuuya has been struggling with his hair falling down his face every time he leans down to pick up a vegetable on the ground.
“I’ll just find a rubber band to tie it up,” the ginger replies and he thinks he has made the right decision with the way the other is grinning at him. He still remembers how much Dazai has insisted that he shouldn’t feel inferior about his looks just because he is different from the rest.
Through the years, both of them have grown closer as they spend most of their time in each other’s presence. They know each other like the back of their hands and some elderlies even speculate witchcraft happening between them due to their perfect partnership. Their mothers would always gossip about embarrassing stories involving them and how they could pass off as twins with how in sync they are.
Dazai continues on with his work with Chuuya working alongside him. They have been helping around their family farms to increase labor and yield more harvests per day. It’s hard work and pain, but, by the end of the day, it is all worth it.
“Hey, Osamu,” Chuuya calls out, which makes the other stop what he is doing to face the ginger., “Thank you for, you know, being my friend.”
“Ah, Pequeño is being a sap today. Don’t worry, Chuuya. I’ll never replace you with a sheep~”
“Forget what I said, you bastard.”
“Such language you have, Chuuya. Do you kiss your mother with that mouth?”
