( ☆ ) And once again, she realised subtle hints really weren’t her thing. Wonderful. “Well, I heard they released a new Annie movie recently, and uh. Well, the TV series has Beowulf in it, so I figured I might try the film?”
Oh! Cerebella meant that she wanted to see it. Feng cursed her inability to pick up on subtle hints. “If you want to see it, I don’t mind. There’s nothing I really want to see now in particular, anyway.”

♦ — "Feng~!!!" The acrobat called, a wide smile on her features. Ah, how long it had been since she saw the other. Finally making her way over, she went to embrace Feng in a rather tight hug. What else could you expect from Cerebella?
“Hey, Bella.” Feng actually began to chuckle at how excited Cerebella was to see her. That is, until she got pulled into one of the tighter hugs of her career.
Now, she didn’t quite dislike the hugs, but they certainly weren’t without downsides. Two big downsides in particular. (Upsides? It wasn’t opportune... Whichever.)

Ever seen Annie Girl of the Stars? It's the best!!
“By the time I got to Canopy Kingdom, I wasn’t a child. So Annie was never really a thing for me. Besides, poorly-disguised propaganda isn’t really my idea of entertainment, anyway.”
“You’re welcome! Now then, what kinda movie d’ya wanna see? Anything you’ve been itching to watch? Perhaps involving a certain green haired lady?”
Green haired lady? What was Cerebella talking about? “Not really. You can choose, I don’t really mind at all.”
“Of course I insist! Besides, I get discounts since I’m famous, I couldn’t make you pay full price! What kind of a friend would that make me?”
“Well- Thanks, Bella.” This was more embarrassing than she had expected. They were going to a movie, and Cerebella was paying for her?
Well... she could say it was just because she wasn’t used to being treated. Yeah, that would work.

What d'you think of Beowulf?
“Well, I didn’t actually move to the Umbrella Kingdom until after his heyday, so I can’t say I have much of an opinion at all.”
“Well, if you don’t have much money, losing it all at the River King isn’t gonna be much fun! You did say about a movie though, so how about we do that? I can pay for the both of us, you don’t have to worry about money.”
“Oh no, I can pay for myself, you really don’t need to pay for my ticket-” She had some money... But not having to pay would certainly be nice. “I mean... if you insist.”
Guess what? Bella butt!
“...???”
“Oh, nothing really. I just sorta train, or watch tv. Occasionally visit the casino, nothing that interesting.” She couldn’t remember for the life of her if Feng knew about her and the mafia, but if she didn’t, it was best it stayed that way. The Medici Mafia was tough business.
“Oh, well the casino sounds like it could be fun... But I don’t usually like to gamble, I don’t have a lot of money for myself.” Especially because of rent... Ugh.
“Whatever you want to do is fine. I didn’t have anything planned.”

“Well, I suppose that could be fun!” Then again, Feng probably didn’t want to go around beating people up… “So uh… what kinda things do you like to do?”
“Well, I like to go to the cinema sometimes. Little Innsmouth is a fun little place, even if it’s a little dangerous.” Cerebella could obviously handle danger, and Feng was certainly no slouch. “Why, what do you like to do in your free time?”
“Good to hear it! We’ll just have a good old girl’s night out! Now then, first order of business…”
“… What do you do on a girl’s night out?”
“I was... sort of hoping that you would know. I thought it was sort of like... just things we like to do ourselves, but with each other.”
“Great! So, tomorrow, you’re gonna get a taste of the fame you deserve! But for now, I think we deserve some fun!”
“Alright, sure! I’m up for some fun.”
