You see small a fox. It looks quite strange — it's white with patches of grey and red. The fox hears you and turns to look. It doesn't seem scared, and it's eyes... It has two purple buttons for eyes. The fox tilts it's head, like it's asking a question.

// Hi! This is rp account of Pincushion, the charming undead fox familiar of Occtis Tachonis from Critical Role campaign 4. And this specific post will contain rules and warnings.

I'm Morgan, the admin, for me any pronouns are fine, but mainly they/them. Pincushion officially referred to as he/it, so those will be used for him in this blog.

This post & the blog in general might contain spoilers.

It's completely fan made for the sole purpose of having fun.

The posts will be written about Pin, in third person, with occasional replics (in a manner, available to a fox, aka yipping/growling/etc, in absence of any circumstances providing animals ability to talk).

Because it's a rp account of an animal (even if it's a familiar, I would allow content, listed further, if Pin was a furry or some kind of a beast-person, however he isn't) there will be no NSFW content or any ships involving Pin.

Pin is canonically undead creature, made out of pieces of multiple different bodies, so topics of death, dead animals, body parts and organs, gore & taxidermy will be present, as well as, possibly, mentions of animal cruelty, corpses, hunting, decay and similar content. Descriptions might be graphic.

Pin is canonically heavily connected to Occtis Tachonis, who is also undead, so same warnings apply to content mentioning this character.

Interactions are welcome, but I will not be answering asks/reblogs/comments/etc that make me uncomfortable in any way.

I'm watching episodes when they get posted for free on youtube, and might not be caught up on new lore sometimes, please be mindful.

rp will be tagged as #pin yipping, any ooc posts will be tagged #morgan yapping. Also there will be reblogs of things that seem to have general vibe of Pin, tagged #pin core.

You see Thimble's lying on the ground. Well, to be more accurate, you hear her before you see her because she's screaming and sobbing in agony. She has never been in as much pain in her life.

It's easy to see why: Her wings haven't just been crushed, they've been *ripped.*

The fox, running around alone again, jumps up and turns in the direction of the sound - ears, then head, then the rest of the body. He leaps over a small patch of dense leafy plants and finds the sourse.

You feel the dry, textured nose nuge your arm, then hear sad, quiet whimper - the sound is ever so slightly off, hence the fact that Pincushion is undead. His ears drop,head is a bit tilted, and he gets as low to the ground as he can. He seems worried, from what little you can tell looking at the body language.

Thimble's sobs subside slightly when she feels Pin's nose against her arm.

"Where'd you come from?" she manages to say. She reaches out to pet Pin, her hand slowly stroking the fox. She doesn't know what's going on. One minute, she was flying around, the next she was being grabbed, and when she tried to fly away, her wings ripped, and she crashed onto the floor.

She gets to a seated position, which goes okay-ish. When she tries to stand, a sudden pain shoots up her back, and she falls back down with a gasp.

Pin leanes into the touch, makes another whiny sound. He licks the hand, with his dry, rubbery tounge. Hearing the question, he tilts his head in the other direction, then jumps, to nod behind himself, in the vague direction of the city. He lays down on the ground, offering Thimble his back.

Thimble looked beyond Pin to the city. Maybe her friends would be there to help her. Or maybe that guy would be there. Either way, she had to go back.

She looked at Pin lying down and knew instantly what was going on. She had ridden Pin a few times, and those times had been fun. But this time, it was for safety, not pleasure. Still, she was ready.

She climbed on Pin, the muscles in her wings and back twinging, and whispered,

"We're gonna go find help." It was rare for her to admit she needed help (except for size-related things), but this was another matter entirely.

Pin stood at his full (a bit unimpressive) height, and run as carefully as he could towards the city. You had to duck couple times under huge ivy leaves, arched tree roots and low branches of bushes. Two small creeks the fox crossed sprinkled you both with cold water and then you experienced squeezing through a hole in the city wall, where a thin block was missing.

Pincushion stopped at the small street where you were and shaked his head so hard his ears flopped from side to side, then took off into a series of alleyways. Sometimes crossing bigger streets, hopefully unnoticed.

Thimble held on to Pin's scarf as the fox ran through the forest. It was always kind of an exhilarating experience, but it was also a little complicated because of all the ducking. Thankfully, Thimble didn't get knocked off, no matter what Pin did.

The water wasn't that bad. In fact, the coldness of the water meant some of the pain subsided for a little bit.

She looked around when Pin stopped. Had someone seen them? Thankfully, nobody had really noticed the fox galloping around with a pixie on its back, even if the pixie's wings looked a bit unusual.

Her back still hurt, but holding on to Pin and feeling all of those familiar movements seemed to help a bit.

While going across one of the streets, Thimble managed to catch a glimpse of someone familiar. Thankfully, the next alley took them in a kind of semi-circle, so she managed to get another look. Yep, someone familiar, alright.

"What do you say, Pin. Think we'll get help over there?" she said, as she steered the fox over.

Wicander was not often a man in need of solitude, but there was only so much fussing and scheming he could take before a nice walk through the city became a desperate need. As scion of House Halovar, he had never the time nor motive to wander down side alleys of distant parts of the city. Now, places he might have called dim, dingy, disgusting—well they were still a bit grimy, but recently he had taken a liking to a little bit of dirt, of mess.

When the padding of paws stopped by his feet, Wicander turned to coo at him. “Pincushion, darling, how are-“ At the sight of gore his voice broke off with a bit of a whimper. “Thimble!” A horrified whisper. He dropped to his knees on the cobblestone, hands outstretched.

Pincushion listened to Thimble and approached the figure in teal. In his buttons eyes Wickander didn't stand out much, nor he smelled in any special way. He lookes up at the man, contemplating for a second if he should get the attention by tugging on his clothes, but Wickander noticed him quickly enough.

When he dropped down, Pin made a small quiet bark, and got visibly distracted by the shiny bracelets on his arms, now when Thimble seemed to be delivered to help.
