Hey guys so I have good news I got hired as a teacher’s assistant at my college! Unfortunately I don’t start the job until the 28th of January but I have to survive until then. Thankfully I live with my mom so I don’t have to worry about paying rent but I’m mostly independent aside from that. I usually have to pay from transportation to and from my classes at school (uber’s and bus rides mostly), my food/groceries, and my dog’s necessities. I just need to have enough cash until then and I’ll be looking at my first paycheck on the 15th of February. If you guys could please reblog or donate I’d definitely be grateful 🧡

Update: So after thankfully being able to pay off the overdraft fees I was hit with I’m a little bit closer to at least being out of the red. Unfortunately my job starts on Monday and my spring semester classes start on Wednesday and I have absolutely no way to get there without getting hit with another $20 overdraft charge for every transaction (I have to get an Uber just to get to the bus stop that runs to my college). In addition to that my dog’s food is running low rn (I may hopefully be able to make it until Wednesday but after that idk). I only need enough to get out of the red and survive until the 15th which is when I get my first paycheck from my new job. a gentle reminder that you did well this year. you met new people, learned new things and felt new feelings. you did so many things that made you scared. you picked yourself up off the floor after feeling completely defeated or heartbroken. there were some really tough nights but you survived them all. you made people happy just by existing. you accepted many goodbyes but the serendipitous meetings made up for them. it was your own hard work that paid off but you always downplay it or compare yourself to others. that’s not fair on yourself. you’ve come so far from the first day of this year. you have more wisdom and strength now. yes, other people seem more “successful” but does that even matter? please don’t think so lowly of yourself to only think about your failures. 2018 was your year of growth. I hope you take a moment to be kind to yourself, and believe that 2019 will be even better.
