Taehyung’s Story : I’ll Be Good. EXPLAINED!
This is arranged by my logic. However, this may not be entirely true. I think everything started with N.O, to be honest. The boys aren’t going to school because well, they don’t want to. “No More Dream” strengthened this theory. “We Are Bulletproof” seems to focused on the boys dancing on what seemed to a chess board. Life is a game of chess. So this determined their next move.
So their next move was indeed, “Danger.” They were trying to find purpose in life, still. Everyone had their own interests, they stayed in the lower ground basement, a railway with no train, unused train station. Then! “Boy In Luv” and “Just One Day” is some sort of transition? Black and white contrast. Love is innocent, so it’s white–is where they were still in school? In War of Hormone, we could see their playful side, and they carried it well. They became a lot more wild.
And then it’s really in “I Need U (Original Version)” where the drama takes off.
Taehyung lives with his sister (a motherly figure), along with an abusive, alcoholic (boyfriend/husband of hers) So Taehyung frequent leaving home to play with Namjoon. But after Namjoon’s arrest (note Taehyung’s face when he saw Namjoon cuffed). Maybe Namjoon confessed that he did all the vandalizing, so the police took him and not Taehyung. Or maybe then, Taehyung was too young to be trialed. So Taehyung starts to spend more time alone.
But he did find the other friends to lay his thoughts away. He jumps off to get a new beginning. Or to clear his thoughts.
But he returned home to see his sister get beaten up by this man again. Which made him feel the need to protect his only sister, so he killed the man out of rage. Bloodied hands and scared, and in fear, he calls the only help he knows. Namjoon. But Namjoon is in jail. That’s why he said he wanted to see him. “Hyung, I want to see you.” (BTS Prologue on Stage)
(BTS WINGS Teaser: #Stigma) Taehyung, vandalizes things, asking to get caught. He was scratching out “Abraxas”.
He had just killed a man, and so he’s interogated.
“Name.” “Kim Taehyung.”
“Age.” “Twenty-one.”
“Parents?” “None.”
With each of the answers he makes, his innocence is gone. His inner thoughts shows himself wearing all-white, running, getting beaten by an invisible entity, caged; to which I conclude his purity. The puppy that graced him with it’s presence for a quick while, eventually leaves him. It meant, tranquility only arrive in brief moments. After while, it will go and it left Taehyung’s purity alone.
And he thought of something at the interrogation desk, his rights.
“Can I make one call?” To which he called Namjoon.
(BTS WINGS Teaser: #Reflection) But Namjoon couldn’t answer. I think it was a metaphor that Namjoon couldn’t answer. It’s as if, he is stopping himself from being able to answer it. His maturity perhaps had the phone booth chained the way it did in the music video.
