I have so much love for this person. The amount of empathy it takes to have these considerations about a person you will never meet, the eloquence and conviction with which they speak, the contempt for landlords. Sometimes I see something someone writes or creates and I wish with everything in me that I could meet and talk to that person for hours about what caused them to be this kind of light in the universe. This is one of those times.

the collar bone/shoulder line is your reference point. I made sure the head fits well and leave a unit of empty space so the boobs start at the right height.

the boobs themselves... are round?? Teardroppy?? The important thing is they are affected by gravity and have an origin point on the chest. So rounder at the bottom, trending towards that origin towards the top. You can also imagine a flat 'triangle' between them, an extension of the unit of free space from before.

if for some reason you're drawing clothes, the shape will change depending on how it fits. Are the clothes giving them support, squishing them together, how loose or form fitting are the clothes, etc. But always keep the shape simple. Simple is cute.

Fantastic advice!! And something I’ve realized I’ve been doing for myself these last 6-7 years, even though I never had a name for it.

Seriously, this is such a great way to go about organizing your home.

I really can’t express how much easier your life can be when you accept that there’s no objectively right way to do this kind of stuff, especially when you let go of the idea that it’s a moral failure when you can’t do something the “correct way” nor is it evidence of you being lazy.

Working with (leaning into) your natural limits and instincts can do wonders for you in your day-to-day life.

my most specific example of this is putting a wicker basket in my bathroom specifically to store clean underwear in (instead of in my dresser) bc the time i already have my pants off is when I want to put on fresh underwear
