There had been multiple instances where the seraphim had made her way to the hotel for some reason or another after things had gone back to normal. Most instances had been missed by Alastor, however this time his curiosity was piqued. Charlie had volunteered her for taking over group therapy while Husk was sick, and he absolutely wondered just what her reaction to hell’s worst would be. So… he attended therapy, for the absolute first time, both alive and dead.
They were going around the circle, sharing regrets. It came to Alastor’s turn.
“Oh? Me? Oh no, I’m just here as a casual observer, I don’t regret anything I’ve done. Not a single thing. Not the murder, not the ritual sacrifice, the shredding of souls... really none of it,” he said, which wasn’t entirely forthcoming of him, but it was true enough. He certainly could count on one hand the things he had true remorse for. But still… how would she react? Would she even want his thanks after that?
